Drive south across the Athi plains toward Amboseli with a picnic stop en route. Afternoon game drive provides views beneath Kilimanjaros changing moods with a focus on elephant herds and open plain photography.

Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon drives through swamps and dusty pans to find wildlife and varied habitats. Opportunity to climb Observation Hill for panoramic views. Evenings feature camp dinner with night sounds such as hyena in the distance.

Final dawn drive in Amboseli before departing toward the Great Rift Valley. Travel includes scenic overlooks en route and arrival at the Lake Nakuru region by late afternoon with a short introductory drive on arrival.

Full day exploring Lake Nakuru National Park including rhino sanctuary areas, Rothschild giraffe sightings and shoreline birdlife with flamingos. Picnic lunch inside the park when conditions allow.

Drive across highland farms and descend escarpments into Mara country. Check into camp on arrival and enjoy a sunset drive as impala and giraffe begin to appear along the tracks.

Classic full day of game viewing in the Mara with a bush lunch. Focus is on lion territories and open grassland herbivores while guides share tracking techniques you can practice from the vehicle.

Explore woodland and river edge habitats searching for leopard hippo and elephant. In the afternoon there is an optional visit to a Maasai manyatta with fair craft shopping opportunities.

Photography led drives timed for soft morning and evening light to capture wildlife at golden hour. Optional dawn balloon add on is available. Evening bush dinner is arranged by camp.

Visit adjoining conservancy landscapes for lower vehicle density and deeper community conservation stories. The day concludes with a farewell sundowner on a private ridge.
