Upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport or Zanzibar Ferry Terminal you will be welcomed by a representative and transferred to your selected beach accommodation. During the transfer you will see Zanzibar tropical landscapes, local villages and coconut plantations. After check-in you will have time to relax and enjoy hotel facilities. After breakfast begin a cultural exploration with a guided tour of Stone Town, the historic heart of Zanzibar. Walk through narrow streets, visit traditional markets, admire ancient buildings and learn about the mixture of African, Arab, Indian and European influences that shaped the island. Visit important landmarks including old trading areas and historic buildings. Later continue to a spice plantation to learn about cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and tropical fruits with demonstrations from local farmers and tropical fruit tasting.
