Welcome to Tanzania. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by the True Africa Escape team and assisted with luggage. Your private safari guide will be introduced and you will begin a comfortable transfer to Arusha, located at the foot of Mount Meru and the main gateway to the northern safari circuit. The drive offers first impressions of Tanzania including local villages, markets and surrounding landscapes. On arrival at your lodge you will have time to relax and prepare for the safari. In the evening the safari guide will provide a detailed briefing covering the daily schedule, safety guidelines and wildlife viewing expectations. After an early breakfast you depart Arusha and travel through northern Tanzanian countryside toward Tarangire National Park, known as Elephant Paradise for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees and seasonal wetlands. Upon entering the park you begin your first game drive with opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo and many antelope species while your guide interprets behavior and birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served in a scenic location inside the park. After afternoon game viewing you transfer onward to the green highlands of Karatu near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for evening relaxation. After breakfast you travel through the Great Rift Valley and the landscapes surrounding Lake Manyara en route to Serengeti National Park. You enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for incredible birdlife, tree climbing lions, groundwater forests and views of the lake, where you may encounter elephants, hippos and thousands of flamingos. Continue the journey toward the Serengeti, experiencing changing scenery as you enter the famous endless plains. Upon entering Serengeti you begin an afternoon entry game drive with wildlife emerging across the grasslands before arriving at camp in the evening. Distance approximately 250 km with a driving time of 5 to 6 hours including game viewing and stops. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Accommodation: Serengeti Lodge or Luxury Tented Camp.

A full day dedicated to exploring Serengeti National Park offering exceptional wildlife concentration and photographic opportunities. The day begins early with a sunrise game drive when animals are most active, providing prime sightings of predators, herds and morning movements. You return to camp for breakfast and continue deeper into the park for full day wildlife exploration, searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and vast grazing herds depending on season and location. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness and continue afternoon exploration with predator tracking. End the day watching the magical Serengeti sunset before returning to camp. After breakfast enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive climbs toward the highlands with changing scenery and continued wildlife opportunities along the route. On arrival near Ngorongoro you visit viewpoints overlooking the magnificent volcanic crater and absorb panoramic views of the natural wildlife sanctuary below. The evening is spent relaxing at your lodge enjoying cooler highland temperatures and preparing for the crater tour. Distance approximately 150 km with driving time about 3 to 4 hours. Today you explore Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After early breakfast you descend approximately 600 meters into the crater floor for a full crater game drive with very high chances of encountering the Big Five and abundant wildlife in this unique ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool and continue wildlife viewing before steadily ascending from the crater and returning to Arusha. Distance approximately 210 km with driving time of about 4 to 5 hours. Meals: Breakfast, Picnic Lunch and Dinner. Accommodation: Return accommodation in Arusha or as specified.

After breakfast and depending on your flight schedule your driver will transfer you to the airport for departure.
