At a distance of 8 Kms from South Delhi lies the Surajkhund with its beautiful amphitheatre and large sun pool. It was constructed by Raja Suraj Pal belonging to Tomar dynasty, in the 10th century. Surajkund provides immense comfort in the secluded ambience far away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Kurukshetra

Thaneswar

Thaneswar is situated near to Kurukshetra and is the sacred town of the Hindus. It is so because Lord Shiva was worshipped here first as lingam. The famous Sheikh Chilli Jalal tomb is also located here. It is a beautiful monument, which is octagonal in shape and is crowned with dome made of white marble. It is surrounded by beautiful white marble courtyard. One can also view here the Pathar Masjid and the Chini Masjid.
