Government Central Museum This museum is the oldest museum present in the state. Colonel Sir Swinton Jacob designed the building of the museum and it is situated in the midst of Ram Niwas Bagh. The museum was constructed in the year 1876, during the period when King Edward VII, the Prince of Wales visited India. The period was opened for public in the year 1886. Jai Garh The Jai Garh Fort is constructed on the peak, which overlooks the city of Amber and the Amber palace below. Jai Garh is surrounded with water and is also known as Jaipur. Jantar Mantar Jantar Mantar is a wonderful 3-story-high complex observatory, which was constructed in the 18th century by the Rajasthani king, Jai Singh.
