Repulse Bay, Hong Kong Overview

The Repulse Bay is a spectacular bay off the southern part of the Hong Kong Island. The origins of its name are still unclear, though there are several interesting stories that abound. As per the most popular story, the British navy successfully repulsed pirates from this bay, and so the name Repulse Bay. Basically a residential area, it offers opportunities to relax, indulge in water sports etc. The lovely beach attracts tourists and locals alike & water temperatures are perfect for those looking to escape the heat.
