Tourist Attraction in Mahabalipuram

Mahabalipuram has the scenic and historic beauty worth a visit. The beaches are exotic and the ancient structures reflect the architectural styles of dynasties that ruled this place.


Temples: The most prominent and striking construction here is the Shore Temple. The foundation of this temple goes around 1,400 years back. The area around the temple is very beautiful. The other temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu named, Thirukadalmallai built by Pallavas.

Monuments and Sculptures: The Five Rathas, Arjuna's Penance, Mahishamardini Cave and Varaha Cave are very impressive historical sites to visit.

Beach: The beaches are beautiful and serene. Boat rides, fishing and trekking can be enjoyed here.
