History:

Gurkha Fort Subathu, Parwanoo was built in the British era. According to some historical data, Amar Singh, who was the chief of the Gurkha Army of that age, constructed this fort to set up a fight with the British soldiers. In fact, there is an array of stories related to the Gurkha Fort, and amongst them, one story says that Gurkhas did not build this fort rather they did capture it from the Patiala King.
