One day Nairobi sightseeing tour covering the Giraffe Center, Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Museum. The tour includes morning hotel breakfast, a visit to the Giraffe Center for hands on feeding and interaction with giraffes, a scheduled visit to the Karen Blixen Museum focusing on the life and writings of Karen Blixen and the Out of Africa connection, and an afternoon visit to the Nairobi Museum highlighting early human skeletal fossils, natural history and Kenyan culture exhibits. After breakfast at 7:00 AM at your Nairobi hotel, guests are transferred to the Giraffe Center to feed and interact with giraffes and learn about giraffe conservation. Around 10:00 AM the tour visits the Karen Blixen Museum, the former residence of Danish writer Karen Blixen and site related to the film Out of Africa. Lunch is scheduled around 12:00 PM. After lunch guests visit the Nairobi Museum in the heart of Nairobi to view collections in natural history, early human skeletal fossils, Kenyan culture and decorative arts, and research exhibits in paleontology and ornithology. Full day tickets to major scenic spots are included. Transportation is provided by a commercial vehicle with a professional safari driver who accompanies guests and can make flexible arrangements within normal working hours. The day concludes with return transfer to accommodations for rest.
