Many travelers rate Tarangire among their favorite national parks anywhere in Tanzania. Here in Tarangire, you can look for lions, leopards, and cheetahs. But you won’t have to look hard to see baboons, vervet monkeys, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. And you’ll come across elephants and baobabs everywhere, two giants of the African bush. Also an enjoyable part of your Tarangire experience will be the rolling savannah scenery, which includes rivers and low hills. And while it can get busy, crowds of cars will not be a problem here.
You'll find it easy to relax at Marera Valley Lodge, down a quiet road near Karatu, on the way between Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. The beautifully kept grounds contain a swimming pool and plenty of vantage points for taking in the panoramic views of the green countryside that sweeps away to the north. The rooms and restaurant are excellent.

Central Serengeti is where wildlife populations are Central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera area, is the heart of Serengeti National Park and is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife throughout the year. The permanent Seronera River attracts predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of plains game. It offers excellent game viewing and is one of the best areas in the park for safari experiences.
It's difficult not to fall in love with Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented Safari Camp. Amid classic Serengeti landscapes of savannah grasslands and acacia trees, this luxury tented camp has large and lovely safari tents. The use of wood (the floorboards, the wooden chests and more) and canvas makes the experience feel like the safaris of old, and you might even hear the Serengeti's lions roaring in the night. Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most beautiful natural sights in Africa, a place where you’ll experience otherworldly beauty with extraordinary wildlife. Watch as, from above, morning mist rolls up and over the crater rim, and notice how the steep walls suggest a place unlike any other. Down below on the crater floor, explore a lost world preserved in a state of pristine isolation, one that shelters lions and hyenas, elephants and black rhinos, flamingos and golden jackals.
