13 Nights 14 Days - Cultural And Hiking Special Tour - Northern Tanzania

Package Overview

This is a special tour that will give you to know normal daily life of some of the tribes in Northern Tanzania, you will visit Chaga and Pare tribes from Kilimanjaro region, then Meru, Masai, Iraqw (Mbulu) Hadzabe, and Datoga tribes from Arusha Region, you will also have few days to witness beautiful wildlife found here. (Note that this tour can be modified the way that will fit someones need)

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT >> MOSHI.

  On arrival at the airport after customs and immigration formalities you will be met by your driver guide who will drive to Moshi area at your first accommodation where you will have time to rest and recover after your flight (If you will arrive with the morning flight) - If you will arrive with evening flight then you will go at your accommodation for overnight.

• Day 2 : MOSHI - KILMANJARO.

  Today you will have full day to visit some Chaga tribe, you will have coffee tour also visit Materuni waterfalls later return to your accommodation.

• Day 3 : MOSHI >> SOUTHERN PARE.

  After breakfast drive to Southern Pare, you will arrive in time for lunch,after lunch you will visit some tribe,

  After breakfast you will have morning for excursion that conducted around the area, return to your accommodation for lunch then depart to Northern Pare.

  Today you have full day to explore the beauty of Pare Mountains also for different activities including visiting Ibwe ya vana (This is huge rock outcrop that wee used for a lot of different belief - you will learn more there)

  After breakfast drive to Lake Jipe for more tour with your lunch boxes, later drive to Arusha for more cultural tour.

  Today you will have full day to spend time with Meru tribe, enjoy different activities with Meru people.

  After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive with your lunch boxes to be served in the park, on arrival at the gate enjoy wildlife viewing, later drive to your lodge.

• Day 9 : TARANGIRE >> LAKE EYASI.

  After breakfast drive to the park for a morning game drive with your lunch boxes, later drive to lake Eyasi for a cultural tour. On arrival you will meet a local guide for excursions planning.

  Today you will have the whole morning for excursions as planned with your local guide, later drive to Karatu area where you will have evening Iraqw tribe visit.

• Day 11 : KARATU >> NGORONGORO CRATER >> SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

  After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro where you will descend into the crater for a game drive, later ascend from the crater and drive to Serengeti National Park.

  Today you will have the whole day for a game drive with option of taking a packed lunch and go out for the whole day, or return to your camp for lunch then do another drive in the evening.

  After breakfast drive to the park for a morning game drive with your lunch boxes, later you will visit Masai village then proceed to Mto waMbu Town.Overnight – Budget/Mid-range Accommodation.

• Day 14 : MTO WA MBU >> KILIMANJARO AIRPORT.

  Today you will have morning for different activities at Mto wa Mbu Town, later you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be dropped to connect your evening flight to your next destination.
