This is a short safari itinerary between Nairobi and Samburu Nature Reserve. Guests are picked up from Nairobi hotels in the morning, drive approximately five hours to Samburu, enjoy wildlife sightseeing and game drives including sightings of birds, cheetahs, lions and savanna species, stay overnight in featured scenic accommodation with meals as listed, and return to Nairobi the following day where the tour concludes at arrival.
After breakfast at the Nairobi hotel, guests are picked up at 07:00 and depart for the Samburu Nature Reserve. The drive from Nairobi to Samburu takes about five hours. Upon arrival lunch will be served followed by a short rest. The afternoon includes sightseeing and game drives in the reserve, with activities concluding in the late afternoon. Guests return to the hotel and have dinner and rest in the evening. Meals and accommodation are provided as listed in the itinerary.
Morning in Samburu with opportunities to explore riverside forests that are home to many birds and predators including cheetahs and lions and to observe species such as Grevy's zebra, eland, giraffe and gazelle. After breakfast at the hotel guests depart in the morning to return to Nairobi. The drive from Samburu to Nairobi takes about five hours. Upon arrival in Nairobi guests are dropped at their accommodations and the trip concludes.
