3 DAY LUXURY SAFARI TO LAKE MANYARA, NGORONGORO CRATER AND TARANGIRE

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am followed by a briefing by the English speaking driver guide. Drive approximately 135Klm to Lake Manyara National Park with a lunch box for a full day game drive and picnic lunch. Lake Manyara features giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees and grassy flood plains with contrasting open plains, a huge escarpment, Soda Lake, dense woodlands and distant volcanic peaks. Wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys and buffaloes, and the park is famous for tree climbing lions and leopards. The park also offers excellent birdlife with over 400 species recorded including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals included: Lunch and Dinner.

Early breakfast at 05.30 am then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for about 6 hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch box. The crater is home to endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and many other wild animals. Ngorongoro Crater includes Soda Lake where many bird species can be seen including flamingos. The crater ecosystem supports large predators such as lions and leopards and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals. Late evening return drive to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast depart with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for a day of game viewing. Tarangire covers approximately 2,600 square kilometers and during dry times supports massive concentrations of wildlife rivaling larger parks, with example population figures provided including tens of thousands of zebras and wildebeest, thousands of buffalo and elephants and hundreds to thousands of giraffes and other species. Predators such as lions, cheetah and leopards are present and the park hosts numerous bird species including green wood hoopoes, fisher lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
