Begin your journey through Lalibela’s renowned rock-hewn churches, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Visit highlights from the first group of churches, including Bete Giorgis (St. George’s Church), Bete Maryam (St. Mary Church), and Bete Medhane Alem (Church of the Savior of the World)

Dinner: Enjoy dinner at Bena Abeba Restaurant, known for its incredible sunset views

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Yemrehana Krestos Church, approximately one hour away to Yemrehana Krestos is an extraordinary 11th-century rock-hewn church celebrated for its intricate architecture and ancient frescoes. Built within a cave, it features a unique blend of Aksumite and medieval design, detailed carvings, and a beautifully preserved interior that showcases early Christian artistry

Afternoon: Return to Lalibela for a lunch break followed by a short rest. Later in the afternoon, continue exploring the second group of Lalibela’s remarkable rock-hewn churches. Overnight Hiltop Lodge
