Day 1 Nairobi To Amboseli Park

Amboseli National Park

An early morning start/pick up from the airport and drive to Amboseli National Park. Check in for accommodation and lunch. Afternoon game drive. Amboseli National Park is situated due south of Nairobi, most of the park consists of a dry, ancient lakebed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland, while in the southern area there is several small, rocky, volcanic hills. Around the swamps Ol Kenya, Ol Tukai and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation is lush with yellow barked acacias and phoenix palms.

Day 2 Amboseli Park

Amboseli National Park

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park, widely considered the premier location in Africa to view free-roaming elephants at close range. Major Highlights of the Day Kilimanjaro Views: Wake up early to catch the best, clearest view of Mount Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak from the Kenyan side, even though the mountain itself sits across the border in Tanzania.
