Passport validity should be at least 6 months from the date of travel .

Indian Rupee of denominations up to Rs. 100 can be freely used anywhere in Bhutan. However, Rs. 500 and Rs. 2000 notes are illegal to carry and use in the country.
The legal drinking age is 18 years and above.
