Triund is a hill station in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh at 10,000 feet above sea level. The name Triund derives from the word ‘Triund’ meaning ‘a place where three rivers meet. It is considered one of the best places to visit in Dharamshala. The hill station is surrounded by a thick forest of Deodar and Oak trees.

Triund is a popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh. It is situated at the base of the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas. The hill station provides stunning views of the snow-capped mountain peaks. It is a perfect place for trekking, camping, and picnicking.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi Overnight Journey by Bus

We will pick you up from Delhi late in the evening and drive towards Dharamshala. It will take around 9-10 hours to reach Dharamshala.

Day 2

Stay in Dharamshala

In the morning you will reach Dharamshala and check-in to the hotel. After freshening and gear up to explore Mall road, Dalai Temple, St. John Church, Bhagsu waterfall, Naddi Hills, Tibetan market, and Dal Lake.

Day 3

Triund Trek

Triund Dharamkot

Wake up to a beautiful view of Mcleodganj and get ready for Triund Trek. Dharamkot will be the starting point, where you will meet your guide and start the Trek

Day 4

Triund to Dharamkot

Triund

After spending your night at Triund. You will wake up with a view you always dreamt of. After having your breakfast you will descend to Dharmkot and check in to the hotel

Sightseeing and Depart

After waking up to a scenic view you will visit other places in Dharamshala like Tea gardens, Shaheed Samarak, Museum, Norbulingka Institute and Gyuto
