5-Day From Zanzibar to Nyerere and Mikumi National Parks

Our driver will pick you up from your Zanzibar hotel in the early morning and take you to the ferry port. You will depart at 7 am on a fast boat from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam. Once you arrive at Dar es Salaam port, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Nyerere National Park (a drive of about 5 hours). Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel, have a late lunch, and rest.

At approximately 4 pm, our driver will pick you up and take you to the banks of the Rufiji River for your boat safari where you will have an opportunity to spot a variety of birds and wild animals.

After the boat safari, the driver will take you back to your hotel for dinner, rest, and an overnight stay.

Today, you will depart in the early morning for an exciting full-day safari with a packed lunch out in the bush.

This is your chance to get closer to nature and the incredible wild animals. You have a very good chance of spotting giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, impalas, warthogs, zebras, Cape buffaloes, kudus, and countless other wild animals and birds. With a bit of luck, you might be able to encounter lions, leopards, etc.

Your game drive will end in the early evening. You may see more animals as you head back to your hotel or camp.

After breakfast, you will begin your transfer back to Dar es Salaam. You will arrive at your Dar es Salaam beach hotel in time for lunch. After check-in and lunch, you will have the rest of the day to enjoy the beach, the swimming pool, and the hotel surroundings.

After an early breakfast, you will depart the metro of Dar es Salaam and drive west for about 5 hours to Mikumi National Park. Along the way, you will drive through beautiful landscapes and pass through several small towns and villages. Upon arrival in Mikumi, you will check in at your hotel and have lunch.

After lunch, you will go for an afternoon/early-evening game drive and then return to your hotel for dinner, rest, and an overnight stay.

You will get up early in the morning for breakfast. Thereafter, you will start your game drive to spot a variety of wild animals. In the early afternoon, you will break for lunch whereafter you will begin your transfer back to Dar es Salaam. The driver will take you straight to Dar es Salaam port for your 4 pm ferry departure.

You will arrive in Zanzibar at around 6 pm. Our driver will pick you up and drive you to your hotel.
