Day 01: Arrival In Phuntsholing – Gateway To Bhutan
Meet & greet by our Bhutanese representative upon arrival at Phuntsholing (border town between India & Bhutan).
Assistance with immigration formalities and hotel check-in.
Free time to rest or take a leisurely evening walk around Zangtog Pelri Lhakhang, a small but beautiful temple in the town center.

Day 02: Phuntsholing To Thimphu (distance: 150 Km | Drive Time: 5–6 Hrs)
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Thimphu, the modern yet traditional capital of Bhutan.
En route, enjoy stunning views of waterfalls, tea gardens, and mountain villages.
Stop at Rinchending Goemba, a quiet hilltop monastery near Phuntsholing.
Check-in at hotel in Thimphu and unwind.
Evening visit to:
Tashichho Dzong (fortress of the glorious religion – outside view)
Buddha Dordenma – one of the largest sitting Buddha statues in the world overlooking Thimphu valley.
Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing – Culture & Heritage
Visit key highlights of Bhutanese culture and heritage:
National Memorial Chorten – built in memory of the Third King.
Motithang Takin Preserve – see Bhutan’s national animal.
Changangkha Lhakhang – an ancient hilltop temple.
Institute for Zorig Chusum – traditional arts & crafts school.
Folk Heritage Museum – glimpse into traditional Bhutanese life.
Royal Textile Academy – showcasing Bhutan’s rich textile heritage.
Evening walk through craft bazaar & main market – shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs.

Day 04: Thimphu To Punakha (distance: 75 Km | Drive Time: 2.5 – 3 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive towards Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,100 m).
Stop at Dochula’s 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and enjoy panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas.
Visit Chimi Lhakhang – a short hike (25 mins) through paddy fields and village homes to this revered fertility temple.
Explore Punakha Dzong, considered the most beautiful fortress in Bhutan, located at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers.
Optional visit to Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest in Bhutan.

Day 05: Punakha To Paro (distance: 125 Km | Drive Time: 4 Hrs)
Depart for Paro, Bhutan’s cultural capital, via Thimphu.
En route stop at Tamchog Lhakhang and cross the traditional iron chain bridge built by the 14th-century bridge builder Thangtong Gyalpo.
Arrive in Paro and check in to your hotel.
Visit:
Paro Rinpung Dzong – a fortress-monastery with stunning views and architecture.
Ta Dzong – National Museum of Bhutan (if open).
Evening stroll along Paro’s charming streets, cafés, and handicraft shops.

Day 06: Paro – Hike To Taktsang (tiger’s Nest Monastery)
Early breakfast and begin the hike to Taktsang Monastery (approx. 5 hours round trip).
This sacred site is perched on a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor.
Taktsang is where Guru Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated in the 8th century.
En route, enjoy peaceful forest trails, fluttering prayer flags, and sweeping valley views.
Optional: Enjoy a traditional hot stone bath in a local farmhouse after the hike (additional cost).
Farewell dinner with a cultural touch.

Arrive at Phuntsholing by late afternoon.
Tour ends with wonderful memories of the Land of the Thunder Dragon.
