Osla village is situated on the opposite shore of the river. There is a bridge called the Seema Bridge, a hanging bridge crossing the Supin River with the background of massive snow-covered mountains; this is the perfect place for taking beautiful photos. The path crosses three “great” or hydroelectricity run chaffing units used by the villager to separate the husks of maize and millet and then grind them into flour. With the tranquillity preserved within the landscape, the trail winds through harvest fields, cattle grazing and the slant-roofed houses used as granaries and storage. It is also possible to spot Amaranth trees. In the monsoon season, they take on an orange-red hue, which creates an edgy contrast to the scene. Within half an hour of the hike, you’ll be treated to a fantastic panorama of Mt. Bandarpoonch and the Swargarohini mountain ranges. Between the cashew nuts forests and walnuts is the tranquil village of Osla. Osla village is a fascinating place with rich mythology associated with the village. There is a belief that during ancient times, there was an era when the Osla village was home to one clan loyal and dedicated to Duryodhan of the Kauravas. And were so faithful that they constructed a temple to him. And today, they teach Duryodhan in the village. In addition to the tales, the village is home to a 2000-year-old Someshwar Temple and a few houses. The temple is distinctive in its design. Villagers are very welcoming here and dress according to a particular fashion that reflects their culture and customs. The village is home to one king who visits every month. This is the time when the main pooja ritual is conducted. After a brief chat with the villager, they continue up the hill.
From Osla, the trail gets rather steep. At the incline, you’ll have stunning views to get views at The Dhauladhar Range out front. The paths that lead to Borasu Pass and Baspa Valley can be seen from this point. The high trail winds further down, reaching a tabletop green stretch of Kalkatidhar. Kalkatidhar is a gorgeous open meadow with stunning views of famous peaks such as Bugyal Devsu and Mt. Black Peak. Water source sufficient.

Large pine trees will greet you on every step.
The trail begins by climbing up to the intersection between the Supin River and the River from the Ruinsara Valley. From here on, you’ll be able to enjoy stunning views of the mountains. The trail is a mix of moderate and steep climbs to reach the Har Ki Dun valley. As you ascend, you will see icy snow patches and snow-covered waterfalls. In winter, these areas are covered in dense snow. Har Ki Dun Valley Har Ki Dun Valley is a fantastic place that displays incredible beauty all in one glance. The massive mountains that comprise Swargarohini, Hata Peak, Black Peak, etc., show breathtaking views. It is an excellent mixture of meadows and coniferous forest, frozen streams, glacier moraines, and the backdrop of gigantic mountains. The trail eventually ends at an elevation of 45 degrees and isn’t as steep as it appears; in the presence of snow, it becomes ever more complex. The final part of the hike ascends an eddy and through dense forests until it reaches The Har Ki Doon summit. From the summit, you can see stunning perspectives from Swargarohini I peak, Hata Peak and Black Peak.
