7 Days Tour: Nagaland

On arrival, pick up from the airport and drive to Kohima. If time permits visit the World War II cemetery. In the evening, visit the night market of Hornbill festival in Kohima. Overnight stay at hotel in Kohima.

After Breakfast Start for a full day tour of Hornbill festival. This festival gives them a chance to closely understand the friendly people and warm culture of Nagaland. Evening return to hotel for overnight stay.

Have breakfast early and start your journey to Khonoma Village. Enjoy the guided tour of Asia's first green village. Explore the Anagami tribes and their locations. Then explore Khel and other tribal groups around the village. Have lunch and head out for a guided tour of the landscape. Learn about the Jhum Cultivation. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Kohima.

Have early breakfast, then trek to Dzukou Valley. The trek is for 3 hours. Hike from the base camp will let you crisscrossing rivulets, mountains of ferns and plantains covered with moss and junipers.
At the top, you will be greeted with the indescribable valley gently stretching out its colorful natural carpet of evergreen charm. Overnight camping at Dzukou valley.

Early morning, you can explore the beauty of Dzukou Valley. After breakfast, you can either trek to a nearby waterfall, which is situated at a distance of about 3 km from your camp site and back to Kohima for rest and overnight stay.
