7 Nights, 8 Days Bhutan Tour

Our guide and driver will meet you at airport with your placard / name card. After short introduction, transfer to Thimphu, the modern capital city of Bhutan. Enroute to Tachogang temple which is about 15 minutes walk from road point. Later drive to Thimphu and then check into hotel. After dropping your luggage, visit to Giant Buddha and Memorial Stupa. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Today we will spend our whole day visiting to Changangkha temple, Takin Zoo, BBS Tower overlooking Thimphu valley, Nunnery, Painting School and National Library. After lunch visit to Weekend Market(Open on Friday – Sunday), Jungshi Handmade paper factory and Handicraft. Evening visit to Tashichho Dzong(fortress) Dinner and overnight stay a hotel.

After breakfast, we then drive to Punakha valley, the old capital city of Bhutan and it takes about 3 hours jounery. Enroute to Dochu La Pass(Weather permitting, one can able to witness panoramic view of Himalayan range) Later in Punakha valley, we will spend time visiting Chimi Lhakhang(temple) which is dedicated to famour master Drukpa Kuenley and then drive to visit Punakha Dzong(Fortress) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Today we will drive early to Trongsa which is about 4-5 hours journey which is located in central part of Bhutan. Check into hotel and after some rest, visit to Ta Dzong(Musuem) and Trongsa Dzong(Fortress) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Today we will drive back to Punakha valley for overnight, crossing Chendebji Stupa. If we find any interesting scene we will stop for a photo. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Today we will proceed to Paro Valley, crossing Dochu La. Stop for a hot lunch at Thimphu. After lunch we then continue our journey towards Paro. Visit to Ta Dzong(Musuem), Rinpung Dzong(fortress) and Kichu Temple. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Following morning breakfast, transfer to hiking point from where you can enjoy a stunning hike on foot to visit famous sacred place “Taktshang Monastery” or Tiger’s Nest. Today’s hike to Taktshang from the road point will take you all way through the well maintained path which is quite uphill and it takes around 2-3 hours at an average walking speed. The uphill trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees adorned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. The hilltop incredible monastery clings to the edge of a sheer rock cliff that plunges 900 meters into the valley below. Legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava, the tantric mystic who brought Buddhism to Bhutan in 747 AD, flew here on the back of a flying tiger Dorji Drolo, said to be his consort. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
