8 Nights, 9 Days Bhutan Tour

Meet our guide and drive at Paro Airport and then drive to Thimphu Valley, the capital city of Bhutan. Enroute to Simtokha Dzong(fortress) Check into hotel. After dropping off your luggage we will then visit to Giant Buddha, Memorial Stupa, Painting School and National Library. Evening drive to visit Tashichho Dzong. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

After morning breakfast, drive towards north of Thimphu to Tango Monastery which is 14 KM away from city and leaving our car at parking point, we will hike about 40-50 minutes. In our Bhutanese language Tango means “Horse Head” and it today houses as Bhutanese Buddhist College. We will then drive back to hotel for lunch. After lunch, visit to Weekend Market (Open on Friday – Sunday) and then visit to handicraft. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast, depart to Phobjikha valley. Enroute to Dochu La Pass. Check into hotel. After taking some rest we will then visit to Gangtey Goenpa(Monastery and then enjoy nature hike which is about 40 – 45 minutes’ walk. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Drive to Trongsa valley, located in central part of Bhutan will take about 4-5 hour journey. Enroute to Chendedji Stupa. Visit to Trongsa Dzong(fortress) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Before we drive back to Punakha valley, we will visit to Ta Dzong(museum) Later drive continue to Punakha. Check into hotel. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnigh stay at hotel.

Morning hours we will spend visiting Punakha Dzong(fortress) and Chimi Lhakhang(Stupa) After lunch we will then drive to Paro. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Today we will drive to Haa Valley, Crossing Pele La Pass. Visit to Lhakhang Karpo and Lhakhang Karpo. Enjoy picnic lunch at river side. In the afternoon drive back to Paro for overnight stay. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Today you can enjoy a stunning hike on foot to visit the incredible monastery “Taktshang Monastery” or Tiger’s Nest. The way to Taktshang from the road point will take through the well maintained path which is quite uphill and it takes around 2-3 hours at an average walking speed and the trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees adorned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. According old believe, the Legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava, the tantric mystic who brought Buddhism to Bhutan in 747 AD, flew here on the back of a flying tiger Dorji Drolo, said to be his consort.

Afternoon, we will spend time visiting to Ta Dzong (Museum), Rinpung Dzong(fortress), Kichu Temple and Paro town. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
