8N/9D Leh to Leh Tour

Arrival at Leh Airport and transfer4 to the hotel, spend then rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening around 4pm we will visit Leh Palace , Leh Market & Shanti stupa. In evening return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast we will visits the popular Alchi monastery well known for its 1000AD Indian style Budha paintings. One of the oldest monasteries in the region, on the way back to leh, the journey takes us through the “ Magnetic Hill “ that is located about 30kms from Leh at a height of 14000 ft above sea level . Here you can see rare wonder of your vehicle going upwards on its own at a speed with the engines off. And you can also visit Hall of Fame (A Kargil War Meseum) overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Early morning, leave on road to Nubra Valley via Khardongla Pass which is situated at a height of 18380 ft and considered as the highest motorable pass of the world and it is the perfect

Spot to capture the Mother Nature. In the afternoon, after having your lunch at some restaurant in Nubra Valley and Check in to your scheduled hotel/camp. Nubra has acquired fame for its sand dunes, the cold desert that surrounds it, Bactrian camels and its breath- taking natural beauty.

Bactrian camels are another attraction. Native to the steppes of central Asia, the Bactrian camel has two humps, in contrast to the single-humped camels found in Rajasthan and other parts of India. The Bactrian camels were the main mode of transport when Ladakh was an important stopover on the Ancient

trade routes with Central Asia. Evening enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel.

Our day 5 will be another road trip adventure. After a scrumptious breakfast, we will take the drive towards Turtuk, Turtuk is known as valley of apricot and turtuk lies in the which is a land of Baltis and was under Pakistan control until the 1971 war. In Turtuk we will take you to visit Masjid and Minaret, Royal house of Yabgo dynasty, ruin palace of Pun Khar, and Historic polo grounds.

All of these places are something to see. Later we will come back to the camps of Hunder for the rest. A camping experience will be more fun with our team

Today after your breakfast you will visit the Disket Monastery. After that start your day tour of Pangong Lake via Shayok is scheduled for the itinerary.

A huge statue of Buddha on top of it, the Diskit monastery is situated in the Nubra valley of Ladakh. Also known as Diskit Gompa, the Buddhist center is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Leh Ladakh. The Diskit monastery was founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo in the 14th century,

and at present stands atop a hill above the plains of Shayok river. The prime attraction of the Diskit monastery is 100 foot high Maitreya Buddha statue, which was inaugurated by the holy Dalai Lama. From the top of the Gompa, where the divine statue is settled, one can have a panoramic view of the Nubra valley. The Pangong Lake is around 135 kilometers away from Leh and situated at an elevation of 4,400 meters. En route, cross Chang la pass and drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh.In the afternoon, explore the lake and its surroundings. Experience the Hypnotic & Picturesque Beauty of Pangong Tso Lake. Stay Overnight at Pangong.

Early in the morning after breakfast we will move towards Hanle via steak La pass it is a longest and off road drive of our trip. Hanle extremely close to Indo China Border .Hanle is the peaceful area of Ladakh and its home to the Indian astronomical observatory its currently the site for the second highest optical telescope in the world ,situated and an altitude of 4500mts overnight stay Guest house in Hanle.

After breakfasta drive to Tsomorori lake , in our way towards tsomorori, there are full of natural landscapes which includes beautiful small lakes on the way. Tso Morori is the biggest salty water lake which has no exit. Tso Morori lake is surrounded by barren hills , with the back drop of beautiful snow covered mountains that is situated at an altitude of 4511mtr above sea level . This lake is one of the most serene and beautiful lake in the world. Overnight stay at Camp.

After breakfast drive to Tsoker lake , Tsokar is also Known as white lake because white salt of the water deposits all over the lake shores. The area surrounding TSokar lake is rich with wild life and birds. A lake is situated at an altitude of 4530 m Above sea level. Drive back to Leh Via Taklang La pass ( Second height motor able road in the world), Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Post breakfast, depart for Leh airport with a bag full of memories.
