Package Overview

Safari tours in Kenya nine days and eight nights will take you through Mount Kenya’s second-biggest mountain in Africa 5200 meters to Semi-desert Park located in Samburu district where nature defies itself. In Samburu, we have special five animals which are not very common elsewhere i.e. grey zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa, Oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk.

It was not very common until 2000 when a lioness adopted a baby Oryx twice. Kamunyak means blessed one being the home for big five lots of animals and bird species and on the south lies the Great rift valley to the Maasai Mara and wildebeest migration.

Great rift valley, Mount Longonot, Lake Nakuru, boat ride, Olololoo escarpments, Talek River, Mara river, hot spring, geysers, Makalia falls, baboon cliff, and out of Africa viewpoint.

What you might see.
Flamingos pelicans white and black rhino, lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, Thomson, gazelles, impala, wildebeest, mongoose, topi, crocodiles, hippos impala, buffalo, Rothschild’s, giraffe, hippos, jackals, gazelles, elands and lots of said species.

All safaris are offered in a choice of luxury, standard, or economy safari lodges or tented camps depending on your safari budget.

Tour prices are per person sharing in a private pop-up top Jeep for easy wildlife viewing and the cost in US dollars.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi – Samburu 320 km 7 hours.

  Pick up from your hotel and drive to the Northern part of Kenya past the Equator and Mount Kenya visible weather permitting second-biggest Mountain in Africa. You will drive to Samburu for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drives until sunset and check-in your Samburu safari hotel or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

  Spend the day in Samburu with an unlimited game drive with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in search of special five here grey zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa, Oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk until sunset and check-in your Samburu safari hotel or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Samburu – Aberdares 150 km 3 hours.

  Early morning game viewing before breakfast check out and drive to Aberdares country club for lunch. Afternoon Giraffe walk weather allowing and you will be able to see Elands, Zebras, Impalas, Warthog, Buffalos until sunset and check-in Aberdares safari hotel or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Solio full day.

  Solio is the biggest Rhino sanctuary in Kenya with over 450 both black and white Rhinos. Spend the day with a full-day game equipped with a picnic lunch until sunset and check-in your Aberdares safari hotel for dinner and overnight but can be very slippery when wet.

• Day 5 : Solio – Lake Nakuru 210 km 5 hours.

  Breakfast will be served drive to Nakuru with a brief stop at Thomson falls and continue to Nakuru for lunch. After lunch, you will have time to relax and embark on an afternoon game viewing drive until sunset and check-in your Nakuru safari hotel or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.
