Bhutan Tour 10N/11D

Arrive at Paro International Airport. Complete Immigration formalities and Check into hotel. After breakfast, drive to the ruins of the Drukgyal Dzong, explore the ramparts and on a clear day experience an unforgettable view of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314 m). On the way back, visit Kichu Lhakhang, built in 659 A.D by the Tibetan king Srongsen Gampo. This Monastery is one of the 108 monasteries built across the Himalayan region by the Tibetan King.

After breakfast a short drive takes us to Satsam Chorten, the trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags.After lunch, visit Ta Dzong (built in1656 and renovated in 1968), an ancient watchtower, which now houses the National Museum.

After breakfast, visit to the National Memorial Chorten in Bhutan. Then visit the National Library and the Painting School. After lunch drive to the Traditional Medicine Institute where medicines are prepared according to ancient practices, and to Lungtenzampa to observe the Royal silver smiths and Bhutanese paper factory at work.Finally visit the Handicrafts Emporium in Thimphu.

After breakfast, visit Folk Heritage Museum, Textile Museum and Philatelic office. After lunch, 3rd King memorial Temple built in the name of Father of modern Bhutan. After that visit the largest Bhudha statue overlooking the Thimphu valley.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula pass. On the way, stop a while to view Chimi Lhakhang.You can also see the painting of lama drukpa Kuenlay which depicts the life history of this devine madman.After lunch,visit Punakha Dzong,situated between Pho Chu (Male river) and Mo Chu (Female river).

After breakfast drive to the beautiful valley of Gangtey. Visit Gangtey Gompa Monastery, from outside.Explore Phobjikha valley, famous for the Black Necked Cranes during winter.There is also small Hiking route that takes you around the village of phobjikha.

After breakfast, drive to Trongsa. Visit Trongsa Dzong,ancestral home of the present Royal Family and first two hereditary kings ruled Bhutan from this Dzong. Then Visit Ta Dzong, an ancient watch tower. The chapel inside the Ta Dzong is said to be dedicated to the Trongsa Penlop Jigme Namgyal. After Lunch, drive to Bumthang.

In Bumthang visit Jakar Dzong,later visit Jambay Lhakhang. Also visit Tamshing Lhakhan,the most important Nyingmapa temple in the kingdom.

Early breakfast, drive to Thimphu. Over night in Hotel. We will book your Hotel within the town area wherby you can walk around the city in the evening before your dinner.

After breakfast, visit Simtokha Dzong,oldest Dzong in Bhutan and presently houses a Monastic school. Drive to Chelela Pass via Paro which is the highest road point in Bhutan. During summer the Chelela mountain excursion is very beautifull due to the presence of wild flowers and rhododendrons. Small valley of Haa is also visible from this Top.Drive back to Paro. Visit a Farm House and here we offer our clients with locally brewed Ara(wine) with Hot stone bath and spicy Bhutanese meals for dinner.

Early morning, after breakfast, drive to Airport and Farewell.
