Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Phuentsholing – Thimphu (Approx. 6 hrs drive)

    Meet & Greet at Phuentsholing/Paro (immigration formalities).
    Drive through beautiful valleys, waterfalls & mountain roads.
    En route visit Kharbandi Gompa.
    Evening arrival at Thimphu.
    Overnight in Thimphu.

  • Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing

    Visit Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong.
    Afternoon: Folk Heritage Museum, National Library, Takin Preserve, Craft Bazaar.
    Evening free to explore local market.
    Overnight in Thimphu.

  • Day 3 : Thimphu – Punakha (Approx. 3 hrs drive)

    Drive via Dochula Pass (3,100m) with 108 stupas & Himalayan views.
    In Punakha:
    Punakha Dzong
    Suspension Bridge
    Short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple).
    Overnight in Punakha.

  • Day 4 : Punakha – Paro (Approx. 4 hrs drive)

    Scenic drive to Paro Valley.
    Visit Rinpung Dzong, Ta Dzong (National Museum).
    Evening stroll in Paro town.
    Vist to Chela Pass
    Overnight in Paro.

  • Day 5 : Paro – Tiger’s Nest Hike & Departure

    Early morning hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest).
    Return to Paro town, relax (optional: traditional hot stone bath).
    Overnight in Paro.

  • Day 6 : Paro – Departure

    Drive back to Phuentsholing for departure.
    On the road side/river side sightseeing
    Photo session on the way/ waterfall

Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms & Methods : A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
The balance payment must be completed at least 30 days prior to arrival in Bhutan.
For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, full payment is required immediately.
Payments must be made via bank transfer or other officially accepted methods.
Cancellation & Refund Policy :All bookings must be made in writing (email/official booking form).
A booking is only confirmed once the prescribed deposit or full payment is received.
Guests must provide a valid passport copy and other required documents at the time of booking.

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Zhiwa Yatra.
Cancellation charges apply as follows:
More than 30 days before arrival: 10% of the tour cost
15–30 days before arrival: 30% of the tour cost
7–14 days before arrival: 50% of the tour cost
Less than 7 days before arrival / no show: 100% of the tour cost
Refunds will be processed after deducting applicable charges and bank fees.

Travel Insurance
All guests are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
Trip cancellation
Medical emergencies
Accidents and evacuation
Lost luggage and personal belongings

Responsibilities of Zhiwa Yatra
We will ensure that all services booked are provided as per itinerary.
We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, roadblocks, government regulations, etc.).
If services are substituted, equal or better alternatives will be arranged.

Responsibilities of Guests
Guests must carry valid travel documents (passport, visa clearance, permits).
Guests are responsible for following Bhutanese laws, cultural norms, and regulations.
Any extra costs due to delays, personal changes, or circumstances beyond our control will be borne by the guest.

Liability Disclaimer
Zhiwa Yatra will not be held liable for:
Loss, injury, or damage caused by natural disasters, accidents, illness, strikes, or government restrictions.
Delays or cancellations due to weather, airline operations, or other factors beyond our control.
Our liability is limited only to the amount paid for the services booked with us.

Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or travel restrictions, Zhiwa Yatra reserves the right to adjust, reschedule, or cancel tours.

Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Bhutan, and any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Bhutanese courts.
