On The Northbound Journey
the train leaves Cape Town train station at 15h30pm and arrives in Pretoria at 10h30am.
14h30 - Register and check in at Cape Town Train Station. Guests enjoy pre-departure snacks and drinks.
15h30 - Boarding commences. Butlers usher guests to their suites. Suite orientation done by butlers. Boarding concludes at 15h45.
16h00 - Blue Train departs from Cape Town Station (will depart earlier once all guests have checked-in).
16h30 - High tea is served in the non-smoking Lounge Cars.
19h30-21h00 - 1st sitting for dinner.
21h15-23h00 - 2nd sitting for dinner.

Remember, dinner is an elegant affair - men are requested to wear a jacket and tie and ladies elegant evening wear.
Guests enjoy post-dinner drinks, Cognacs and Cuban cigars in the Club Car before retiring to bed.

OFF-THE-TRAIN-EXCURSION
(Weather and time permitting)
14h30 - Blue Train arrives at Kimberly Station. Guests disembark and gather at the Railway Museum, from where they will be ushered to a bus, which transfers them to the Kimberly Open Mine Museum.
15h00 - Guests arrive at the Open Mine Museum for a tour of the mine. Guests are first taken to view interesting and historial sites. Guests are also taken onto an enclosed ramp on the edge of the Big Hole.
17h30 - Guests depart from the Open Mine Museum for Kimberly Station. At Kimberly Station guests are greeted with a glass of sherry. The sherry glass engraved with The Blue Train logo is a memento for guests to keep. After this exciting tour, guests are welcome to refresh themselves and enjoy aperitifs before dinner.
19h30-21h00 - 1st sitting for dinner.
21h15-23h00 - 2nd sitting for dinner.
