Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Day

  Arrive at Shimla (on your own). We will organize pick – up vehicles from Shimla bus stand at 6:00am sharp. The pickup is arranged in a Tata Sumo (or similar vehicle). We are expected to reach Janglik by 6:30pm.
  Note: It is advisable to reach Shimla a day earlier, stay overnight and report to Shimla bus stand by 6:00 am the next morning for the pick up to Janglik.
• Day 2 : Janglik – Dayara (5 Hrs.)

  The trail from Janglik to Dayara is considered to be one of the most beautiful trails you’ll get for a first day. It passes through crafted wheat fields, meadows with streams running across, and dense oak and pine forests. Camp for the night at Dayara, which is known to be one of the prettiest campsites in India.
• Day 3 : Dayara – Litham (3 Hrs.)

  Start your day exploring the Dayara meadows. It looks most glamorous as it soaks up the golden glow of the morning sun. The trail from Dayara to Litham will take you through dense forests, wide green meadows, gushing streams, and little brooks as you gain an altitude. Camp for the night at Litham.
• Day 4 : Excursion To Chandraharan Lake

  Start your day’s trek early so that you can return to Dunda by lunch. The excursion to the lake is extremely rewarding in the terms of the views it offers en route. It is a closed alpine valley with snow patches all around it. It will take you about 7 hours to go to the lake and come back. Rest overnight at Litham.

• Day 5 : Litham – Dunda

  Buran Ghati is a trek that can be easy or difficult depending on where you camp for the pass assault. Dunda at 13,300ft is perfect for the next day’s pass climb. It is a difficult ascent covering 1628 feet in 5 hours, but this will make the next pass crossing day easier. Look out for Gunas pass en route to Dunda. Camp for the night at Dunda.
• Day 6 : Dunda – Munirang Via Buran Ghati

  Today is a relatively difficult day as you climb from 13,365 feet to 15,000 feet and further descend to 11,800 feet, in 8 hours. Camp for the night at Munirang, close to a gushing stream.
• Day 7 : Munirang – Baruva

  It is a quick descent to Buruva village. You will lose height rapidly as you descend 5100 feet in just 4 hours. The trail is full of surprising changes in scenery. It is difficult to find another trek that has so much diversity while descending. You will reach Buruva Khud around 1 pm. The trek ends at Buruva. Next day you can move to Shimla as the trek ends here.
