Chennai - Madurai
On the second day, you can go for Chennai sightseeing tour. Overnight stay in the Chennai hotel.
On the third day, post breakfast, take a flight for Madurai where you would visit the Meenakshi Temple. Constructed on the banks of a lotus pond, it consists of a unique thousand pillared hall. Post breakfast the Madurai hotel, embark on a drive to Periyar, which is famous for its national Park. On arrival in Periyar, you will be transferred to the hotel and after a while, go for a trip to Periyar National Park. The forest reserve is known for the conservation of various species of wildlife, like the bison, deer, leopard and over 260 species of birds. When in Periyar, you will go for the safari. Periyar - Kumarakom
Today, you will embark on a drive to Kumarakom. Rest of the day will be free for leisure. Overnight stay in Kumarakom hotel.
Kumarakom - Cochin
Start your day early in the morning. Today, you will visit the backwaters of Alleppey. The backwaters of this place are famous for its mirrored lagoons, beautiful houseboats, boat racing, and unique fishing techniques. From Alappuzha, you will be transferred to Cochin. Overnight stay and dinner at the Cochin hotel.
