Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi Arrival

  Your Culture of India sojourn begins with your arrival at New Delhi airport where our representative will meet and escort you to the city hotel where rooms are held on ready occupancy. Check into the hotel and stay overnight there.
• Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing

  After a sumptuous breakfast, you’ll be taken on a sightseeing trip of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Visit the Gandhi Memorials, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Qutb Minar and Parliament House. Retire to the hotel after a day full of activities.

• Day 3 : Delhi - Lucknow

  In the morning, you’ll be visiting Akshardham Temple, the biggest temple of the world with sprawling lawns and museum and theatre. In the afternoon, go on a shopping spree in Connaught Place, the shopper’s heaven.
  
  Evening, visit the Kala Kendra. Enjoy the different forms of classical dances. Later, you’ll be driven to railway station to board the train to Lucknow. Overnight on board the train.

• Day 4 : Lucknow Arrival - Sightseeing of Lucknow

  Welcome to the city of Nawabs - Lucknow. On arrival, you’ll be escorted to hotel. Sign in and relax for a while. Then embark on a daylong city tour visiting attractions like Bara Imambara, Chhota Imambara, Clock Tower, Rumi Darwaza, and British Official Residence. Evening is at leisure. Enjoy a walk through the bustling colorful markets. Retire to hotel for night stay.

• Day 5 : Lucknow - Varanasi (290 km, 7 hours)

  The next destination is Varanasi. Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities of the world with a rich history of more than 4000 years. Board the train to Varanasi. On reaching, check into a hotel.
  
  In the evening, visit the holy banks or Ghats or River Ganges. Enjoy an exciting boat ride on the river. Retire to hotel for nigh stay.
• Day 6 : Varanasi - Sarnath

  You’ll be embarking on an excursion to Sarnath, one of the holiest places for Buddhists. It is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Visit here Dhamek Stupa, a 34-metre high monument. Also visit Ashoka Pillar and Archaeological Museum.
  Later return to Varanasi for local sightseeing trip visiting Kashivishwanath Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Bharat Kala Bhavan and Benares Hindu University.
  
  Stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 7 : Varanasi - Khajuraho

  The Culture of India Expedition whisks you to the world famous temples of Khajuraho. You’ll be driven to airport to board a flight to Khajuraho. On reaching, you’ll be signing into a hotel for night stay.
  
  Later during the day, you’ll be visiting Western Group and Eastern Group of Temples. These monuments depict intricately carved figures of Hindu gods and goddesses and everyday life activities right from plowing fields to amorous relations.
  
  Night is spent at hotel in Khajuraho.

• Day 8 : Khajuraho - Agra via Jhansi

  Today, you’ll be hitting the road to Agra. You will be driven to Jhansi to board the train to Agra. Check into hotel on reaching. Night stay is at hotel in Agra.
• Day 9 : Agra - Jaipur

  You’ll be venturing on Agra city tour visiting Taj Mahal, the wonder in white marble and Agra Fort. In the evening, depart for Jaipur, 235 km from Agra which will take around 5 hours. On arrival check into a hotel for night stay.

• Day 10 : Jaipur

  In the morning, take an excursion to Amber Fort, 11 km from Jaipur. The palace-fort is an example of artistry and deftness of Rajputana architecture. The fort is perched atop a hill. Embark on a jeep safari or elephant ride to reach at the gate of the fort.
  
  Later in the day, you’ll also visiting famous attractions of the city such as Palace of Winds or Hawa Mahal, the City Palace Complex and Jantar Mantar.
  
  Night is spent at the hotel.

• Day 11 : Jaipur - Jodhpur (315 km, 5 hours)

  You are scheduled to travel to Jodhpur today. En route, stop for visiting Pushkar, famous for annual camel fair and Brahma Temple. On reaching Jodhpur, sign in at a hotel. Rest of the day is at your own leisure.

• Day 12 : Jodhpur

  The day is dedicated to visit the most visited tourist attractions including Mehrangarh Fort, Rajasthan’s largest fort, Jaswant Thada, and Umaid Bhavan.
  
  Enjoy the evening at leisure. You can visit the local bazaars bursting with colors. Spend the night at hotel.

• Day 13 : Jodhpur - Udaipur (260 km, 6 hours)

  Today, you’ll be heading for Udaipur, 260 km from Jodhpur. En route halt for Ranakpur, home to beautiful Jain Temples that date back to fifteenth century.
  On arrival in Udaipur, check into the hotel where you’ll be spending the night. Evening is kept free at your own leisure.
• Day 14 : Udaipur

  Take a day long city tour of this beautiful city. The sights and attractions you’ll be visiting include City Palace, Museum, Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichola, Sahelion Ki Bari and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir.
  In the evening, enjoy an exciting boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 15 : Udaipur - Delhi - Departure

  This is the last day of your Culture of India Tour. You’ll be transferred to airport to board a flight to Delhi. On reaching, you’ll be driven to International Airport to board the flight back home.
