Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks. Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Day 1

Arrive Darjeeling

Average elevation of 6,710 ft (2,050 m).belongs to Gorkhas, Lepchas and other ethnicities. Put up at Hotel and enjoy Mall in the evening. Stay overnight.

Day 2

Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning at 4:00 AM enjoy a spellbound show called Sunrise from Tiger hill over Kanchenjunga. Enjoy at Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on return journey. Return to hotel and after breakfast take a sightseeing tour to Darjeeling local [Rock Garden, War Memorial, Peace Pagoda, Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Thursday Close), Botanical Garden]. Stay overnight.

Day 3

Darjeeling to Gangtok

After Breakfast transferred to Gangtok 125 Km. which is located in the eastern Himalayan range at an average elevation of 5,800ft./1800mtr. The town's population belongs to different ethnicities such at Nepalis, Lepchas, Bhutias. Put up at Hotel. Enjoy Mall in the evening and stay Overnight.

Day 4

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Early Morning proceed for full day excursion at an average elevation is 12400ft.Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir return to Gangtok and stay Overnight

Day 5

Gangtok Sightseeing and Departure

Rumtek Monastery Hanuman Tok Ganesh Tok

After breakfast enjoy local sightseeing at Gangtok i.e.Tashi view Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower Show (Sunday Closed), Rumtek Monastery. transfer to NJP Rly. Station/Bagdogra Airport for your return journey.
