Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Cochin - Munnar (150 Kms/4 hrs)

  When you arrive at Kochi Airport/ Railway Station you will be received by our representative and we will proceed on a 4.5 hour drive to Munnar. On the way we will visit the Elephant Training Centre in Kodanad and watch the elephants bathing. You can also take an Elephant Safari and play with Baby elephants while they are bathing. The other attractions on the drive include Spice Plantations, Valara waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point, Attukkad water fall view etc. Once you reach Munnar Checkin to the resort.

• Day 2 : Munnar Sightseeing

  After breakfast, take a sightseeing tout of Munnar visiting the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar Town and the town market. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Thekkady Sightseeing

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady, on arrival check into the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady - one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978.
  
  Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.

• Day 4 : Alleppey Sightseeing

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (40 KM - 1 Hour drive). This is a quaint town flanked by the Arabian Sea in the west and has a vast network of lakes, lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it. Alleppey is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year and is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry.
  
  Check into the houseboat on arrival (check in time 1.00 pm). Enjoy the day with a backwater cruise on the Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay is on the houseboat.

• Day 5 : Kovalam Beach

  After breakfast check out and proceed on a 6 hour drive to Kovalam. Kovalam Beach was among the most prominent tourist spots in India during the hippy era. There are three beaches at Kovalam, separated by outcrops jutting out to the sea. The larger one is called Light House Beach for its 30 meter high light house. The second largest one is Hawah Beach.
  
  Once you reach Kovalam check in to the hotel. Relax in the hotel for the rest of the day. After settling down set out on sightseeing in Kovalam. Enjoy the sun setting in Kovalam Beach. Return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Kovalam Beach

  Morning after breakfast go for full day excursion trip to Kanyakumari, the southern tip of India, the meeting place of three great ocean and also one of the important pilgrim centre of Hindus.The Kanyakumari beach is famous for its spectacular sun rise and sun set. VisIt the famous old palace called Padmnabhapuram Palace and famous Suchendra Temple. Later drive back to the Kovalam.
  
  Evening free to enjoy the beach.

• Day 7 : Departure

  Enjoy the morning at your leisure and checkout of the hotel after breakfast. We will drop you back at Trivandrum airport for the departure flight back home.
