Everest View Trekking Tour is the shortest way to see Mount Everest by walk. Everest view trekking starts with the flight from Kathmandu airport to Lukla (2,840m). It enters into UNESCO world natural heritage site Everest National Park. Namche Bazaar is the major trading center of the Khumbu region. Tengboche, Khumjung, and Monjo are other famous spots of our trail route. The attractions are the Pine forests, rhododendron flowers, rare animals, etc.
In the Everest region of Nepal, Tibetan Buddhist culture is in existence. Everest view trek features the sky touching silver mountains, rich ecosystem, religious integrity. Day 1 : Kathmandu arrival (1,350 meters), transfer to hotel, welcome dinner
In this country of Himalayas, you are most welcome from the core of our heart. On your arrival in Kathmandu airport, our representative welcomes you with the warmest greeting and reception. Then you will be shifted to your selected hotel. Rest of the time you can utilize as per your interest. We meet in the evening to have a welcome dinner together. You enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine with fantastic cultural dance presentation.

Day 2 : Kathmandu City Tour and Trip Preparation
In the morning breakfast is followed by the sightseeing of several secret sites of Kathmandu. You will be guided by a professional city guide. The sightseeing covers some fantastic historical world heritage sites as Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath & Kathmandu Durbar Square which distinctly clarify the religious and cultural diversity and integrity of the country. In the day time, we will give you the detailed briefing about the trek, ahead do some trek preparation.

Day 3 : Drive to Ramechap and Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,652 meters)-3 hours drive
Early morning about 3 am leave Kathmandu with pack breakfast, you’ll then be transferred to Ramechap airport to fly to Lukla. This is 3 hours drive and a 20-minute scenic flight over the striking Himalayan mountain ranges, landscapes and quintessential villages. At Lukla, you’ll meet all crew members and begin the trek northward to Phakding village.

Day 4 : Trek form Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 meters): 5-6 hours trek
From Phakding, the trail goes through the Pine forest along the Dudh Koshi river. We cross the famous Hillary suspension bridge and many others. The huge Mt. Thamserku (6,618 meters) sparks just in front of us. On passing Benkar, Chumao and Monjo village we come to the entrance of Everest National Park. Ahead we meet Jorsale village before reaching Namche Bazaar. From around the Chautara, we get the first sight of Mount Everest (8,848 meters) in the far. Namche Bazaar is the main trading center of the region and also a gateway to Mount Everest. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 5 : Namche Bazaar - Day hike to Khumjung (3,810 meters): 2-3 hours hike
Today we remain at Namche Bazaar to acclimatize our body with the altitude. We are recommended to go around instead of being idle. For the day we go for hiking to Khumjung (3,786 meters). Khumjung is a valley surrounded by snowy mountains. In Khumjung, we visit some monasteries, Hillary school and the village itself. Here we get to see many sacred things showing the Buddhist culture and influence of Buddhism in the region. Return back and overnight at Namche.

Day 6 : Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3,870 meters): 4-5 hours trek
Morning breakfast is followed by a climb up to the airstrip at Syangboche. The airstrip is famous for its fantastic location and panoramic view of the highest mountains in the world. We continue climbing up, pass Khumjung village and descends down to Dudhkoshi river on passing many small villages and fir forest. On crossing the river, we ascend steeply up along the pine and fir forest. The effort of about two hours brings us to the Tengboche village standing on a small hill. Tengboche is considered one of the main picturesque destinations of the Everest region. The culture and religion are valued with famous Tengboche Gompa whereas the Everest (8,848 meters), Lhotse (8,516 meters), Nuptse (7,861 meters), Ama Dablam (6,812 meters), Thamserku (6,623 meters), etc. are the unbeatable proof of natural beauty.

Day 7 : Trek from Tengboche to Monjo (2,840 meters): 4-5 hours trek
Our first part of the journey goes steep down to the Dudhkoshi river through rhododendron and fir forest. In spring the trail route becomes more colorful with the blooming rhododendron. On crossing the river we climb up, pass the village of Tashinga & Sansa and reach to one more beautiful village Kyangjuma (3,550 m). Further on passing several wooden slopes and winding bends. If we are lucky enough we get to see Snow Leopards, Pheasants, and mountain goats. We spend some time in Namche enjoying nature and the facilities available. On descending, we cross a bridge of Dudhkoshi river near the confluence of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi river. Further ahead we cross the Dudh Koshi river several times, exit from the Everest National Park to reach the village of Monjo.

Day 8 : Trek from Monjo to Lukla: 4-5 hours trek
Today we retrace back to Lukla and summarize the trek. The distance snow covered peaks look fabulous from the windows of beautiful rhododendron and pine forests. On arrival in Lukla, explore around the prosperous village and collect as many memories as you can in the Himalayas.

Day 9 : Fly from Lukla to Ramechhap and drive to Kathmandu
Finally, a day with no trekking as we’ll take a scenic morning flight back to Ramechap and transfer to a Kathmandu hotel, you then have the rest of the day to do whatever you like. This may be simply relaxing or exploring Kathmandu. You may even wish to do some last-minute shopping for yourself, friends and family. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10 : Final departure
At about 3 hours prior to your flight time, we transfer you to the airport to fly your onward destination. Trekking Mart family wishes your best time ahead.
