Morning walk on the shores of the lake to enjoy this magical place, after breakfast drive to Hanle, by crossing Chushul Village, Tsaga La (15,200 Ft) enjoy the drive upto Hanle. Hanle in changthang region of Ladakh is one of the most beautifully enchanting, calm and soul loosing places in India. Hanle has a lovely monastery offering some great aerial views of whole village that is a home of about 1000 people. Hanle monastery is a 17th century monastery of the Drukpa lineage of the Kagyu sect. Monastery is home to about 60 monks, built under the protange of the king Singey namgyal, it is believed that King Singey Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition Mongols. The views from the top of monastery are just breath taking. Hanle is also house an Indian astronomical observatory which is the world highest observatory in the world at a staggering height of 4500m. After breakfast leave for Tsomoriri Lake via Mahe bridge, Yaya Tso and Nurpa la, long wonderful drive gives us tremendous opportunities for photography. After check-in at Tsomoriri fix camp, visit the small Korzok monastery and spend the evening at the banks of the lake.
