After breakfast at the hotel, full day tour to the Jade Buddha temple, the current temple draws from both the Pure Land and Chan traditions of Mahayana Buddhism. It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Burma by sea. Later visit silk factory,the Bund, Nanjing road and the 88the floor of Jinmao Tower. Visit the Jade factory on the way to the Great Wall at Juyongguan Pass, Explore the history of a wall built hundreds of years ago, yet which remains largely intact as it snakes endlessly across the mountain ridgelines. Then take a photo stop of Bird’s Nest &Water Cube from outside. Overnight in Beijing.
