Each year on Makar Sankranti (mid-January), large number of devotees from all over the nation, congregate at Gangasagar for a sacred dip at the convergence of the river Ganga and the Bay of Bengal.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Kolkata

Guest will be received by our representative at Kolkata airport / railway station. Transfer to Hotel and check in. Proceed half day local sightseeing at Dakhineswar Temple, Eco park (boating optional) (depends on time and availability). Overnight stay.

Activities : Boating , Sightseeing

Accommodation : The Eden [ 2 Star ]
Day 2 Kolkata (gangasagar Trip)

Early morning proceed to GangasagarDarshan. Vehicle reach up to Jettty point. Cross the river by govt. vessel (45min approx. ticket purchase from counter) and from here reach to Sagar Island by road (with local shared transport by own). Visit Kapil muni ashram and temple. Back to Kolkata. Evening visit Kalighat temple (Shakti Peeth). Overnight stay at Kolkata.

Day 3 Kolkata

Victoria Memorial Howrah Bridge Indian Museum

After breakfast check out from hotel. If time permit visit sightseeing at Indian Museum, Howrah Bridge view from Babughat, 2nd Hooghly bridge view from Millenium park, Victoria Memorial. Later Transfer to Kolkata airport / railway station. Depart Kolkata with wonderful memories…..Tour End.

All Hotels was excellent. Agency coordination was also good. My complaint on the driver only, name Rajesh Sikhawat was not good person, his talking way was not well always doing unnecessary arguments. Mr Santanu from SUNBIRD always trying to control his way but he didn't listen to anyone. Otherwise SUNBIRD services was good.

Overall it was good except the hotel in "ARAKU" Other hotel available at the rate cheaper then what you fixed Go & compare Hotel quality & rates of hotel " THIS IS TO HELP YOUR BUSINESS" Otherwise everything was good.
