Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Njp /ixb/ Bagdogra - Gangtok

On arrival at NJP / Bagdogra / Siliguri you will be transferred to Gangtok, its strategic location,a strong Buddhist presence and heady cultural offerings make the First City of Sikkim - Gangtok, a tempting insight into this stimulating land. Mt.Khanchendzonga, orchid nurseries, great shopping - Overnight stay at Gangtok hotel.

Day 2 Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir - Gangtok

After breakfast day excursion to the oval shaped Tsongo Lake (40 kms from Gangtok departure in the morning) - situated at height of 3,780 mts. with an average depth of 50 ft and home to the Brahminy duck and several migratory birds.On the way stop at Kyongnosla.The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Travel to Baba Mandir at the height of 13,500 feet another 17 kms beyond Tsomgo lake.Return to Gangtok. Overnight halt at Gangtok Hotel.
In case, Tsomgo lake is not accessible due to unfavourable climate conditions, we will visit Namachi Village, Namachi, meaning "Sky High". Nestled among the hills at an elevation of 5,500 ft. it commands a panoramic view of the snow capped mountains and vast stretches of valley.

Day 3 Gangtok Sightseeing

Rumtek Monastery Hanuman Tok Ganesh Tok

After Breakfast pick up from Gangtok Hotel & drive for Half day local sightseeing of Sikkim Himalayan Zoological Park /Bakthang Falls/ Do Drul Chorten /Kanchendzonga Tourist Park /Ganesh Tok/ Hanuman Tok.Afternoon and Evening for Leisure and Shopping.
Optional[Rs350/Head Extra]:-After Lunch proceed again for a half day sightseeing tour covering Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Water Falls , Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom and Flower Show. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 Gangtok - Darjeeling

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling, one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Afternoon and Evening free to explore this Hill queen. Overnight stay at Darjilling hotel.

Day 5 Darjeeling Sightseeing

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back, visit Ghum Monastery and Batasia Loop.

Afternoon, go for a half-day sight seeing tour of Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gumbo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Overnight at Darjeeling Hotel.

Day 6 Darjeeling - Njp / Ixb /bagdogra

After breakfast transfer to NJP/ IXB / Bagdogra for return journey. Tour ends.
