Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Njp Railway / Ixb Airport - Gangtok

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, you will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (130 kms / 4.5 hrs), Gangtok (5500 Ft) the capital of Sikkim, Sikkim - the Land of the Pristine and un spoilt natural beauty with alpine landscapes and thick luxuriant forests, rivers in torrent and peaceful lakes.

Day 2

Gangtok / Lachung

Pick- up from hotel at Gangtok at about 10 a.m. proceed to Lachung (115 Km) at an altitude of 8,600 ft. On the way stop and enjoy a few wonderful locations like Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of Lachen chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Reach Lachung by late afternoon and check in hotel.

Day 3

Lachung / Yumthang / Gangtok

After breakfast leave for Yumthang (11,800 ft.) On the way you will visit the famous hot spring. Yumthang is large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In April/ May the valley erupts in a riot of colors of Rhododendrons, Primula and many other Alpine Flowers, which are in full bloom. (Supplementary - The trip can be extended to Zero Point). After sightseeing, return back to Gangtok for night stay.

Day 4

Gangtok

After breakfast Go for a full day sightseeing covering Ranka Monastery, Shanti View Point, Bon Jhakri Water Falls, Droul Chorten, Ganesh Tak, Directorate Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Flower Show etc. Overnight at Hotel

Day 5

Gangtok

After breakfast proceed to Tosomgo Lake (12,210 Ft). This lake is located very close to Nathula Pass which is the entry point to China & remains frozen for most parts of the year. Enjoy the surroundings, majestic snowy peaks which feed the lake and the clean fresh air. Visit Babamandir & Back to Gangtok by late afternoon.

Day 6

Gangtok / Darjeeling

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (7100 ft), the "Queen of the hill Stations". Drive through scenic ecstatic beauty of mountains, stiff climb through Peshok tea gardens etc. Overnight at Hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 7

Darjeeling

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park

Early morning tour start at 4 am an early morning trip to Tiger Hill (7800 Ft) to catch the sunrise from behind the majestic Kanchenjunga range. On the way back visit the Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Afternoon go for next half of sightseeing of Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & overview of Tea Estate. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 8

Darjeeling / Njp Railway / Ixb Airport

After breakfast proceed to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport (100 Km / 3.5 Hrs), for your onward connection/ journey.
