Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT – GANGTOK (130 KMS / 4 HRS)

  After arrival, meet & greet at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (Alt 5550Ft / 1675M). On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Evening free at leisure / you can visit MG Marg on your own. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 2 : TSOMGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR EXCURSION (TIMING: 7.30AM TO 2.30PM).

  After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,000 ft./ 3600 m) & New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 52 kms one way from Gangtok city. In case of Land slide or for any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing & i.e. –
  i. Banjhakri Falls, KTC Ranka, Lingdung Monastery Ranka, Ganesh Tok, Honuman Tok, Tashi View Point.
  ii. Namchi, Temi Tea Garden (Outer View), Samdhupse, Chardham.
  Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 : GANGTOK LOCAL FULLDAY SIGHTSEEING (TIMING 9.00AM TO 4.30PM)

  Full day Gangtok City tour (Timing 9.00AM to 4.30PM). Visit Banjhakri Falls, Gunjang Monastery, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, Dodurl Chorten, Government Institute of Cottage Industry (Closed on Sunday, 2nd Saturday), Orchid House Flower Show and Ropeway (ticket charges directly payable). After lunch visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok and Bakthang Falls. Back to the hotel and free evening. Overnight at Gangtok

• Day 4 : GANGTOK - PELLING (130 KM / 4.5 HRS) (DEPARTURE TIMING: 7:30 AM)

  After breakfast transfer to Pelling (Alt 7175 Ft / 2150M). Pelling is one of the most magnificent Hill Resorts. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay will be at Pelling.

• Day 5 : PELLING SIGHTSEEING (TIMING: 9.00AM TO 4.30AM).

  After breakfast, started sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap Village and Valley, Rimbi Waterfalls, Kunchenjungha WaterFalls and Khecheopalri Holy Lake. In the afternoon, the 2nd Half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad View Point, Sky walk (Direct Payment basis) Rubduntse Palace Ruins and Bird Sanctuary. Overnight stay will be at Pelling.

• Day 6 : PELLING - DARJEELING (80KMS IN 3HRS) (DEPARTURE TIMING: 8:00 AM)

  Check out from Pelling and drive to Darjeeling (Alt 6825 Ft / 2050M). Enjoy scenic beauty of Rangeet River Valley on the way. On arrival check in at Hotel. Free evening. Overnight at Darjeeling.

• Day 7 : DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING

  Early Morning (Timing 4.00AM to 7.30AM) visit Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. world's third highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.
  
  After breakfast (Timing: 9.00AM to 1.00PM) visit Darjeeling Zoo and Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tea garden, Tenzing Rock and Gombu Rock, Japanese temple and Peace Pagoda. Evening free for shopping & leisure. Night stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 8 : DARJEELING – NJP RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT (90 KMS / 3 HRS) (DEPARTURE AT 7.30 AM)

  After breakfast, transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.

PLEASE NOTE

• Rates valid for Indian Nationals only.
• Please carry valid photo Id proof (Voters card / Driving License) & 02 copies of passport size photo to go to Tsomgo Lake.
• Rate is non-commissionable and net payable to us.
• Rooms / Vehicle are subject to availability & are not on hold.
• Cancellation charges as applicable.
• Extra Person / Child with Bed (CWB) sharing the room shall get mattress & not bed.
• Lifts are not available in these areas & guest should be prepared to climb a few stairs.
• The vehicle used will be exclusive for that group but will not be at disposal.
• Most of the hotels do not have parking place & vehicle cannot be parked in front of the gates for longer period hence gusts should wait at the reception 5 minute before the departure to avoid the inconveniences.
• Management is at liberty to make changes or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or bandh, security reason etc.
• Kindly inform us if the guests are senior citizens or have health related issues (like arthritis, heart problems etc.) or any such matter which might need special arrangements. Some itineraries will not be suitable for them and we will suggest accordingly.
• There will be no refund of any unutilized service in part or in full what so ever may be the reason.
• Additional cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like – landslides, road blockage, etc. will have to be paid on the spot by the guest directly.
• What to carry (Dress & other) - Sikkim & Darjeeling is a hilly area & change is weather is a regular happening. Nights are cold and the sunshine is very bright during the day hence please carry -
• Cap, Sunglass, Light layer clothing should be carried throughout the year.
• In winter it is advisable to carry heavy woolen.
• It rains anytime so it is advisable to keep an umbrella.
• Any dispute arising is subject to exclusive jurisdiction in Kolkata irrespective of any competence court present at the place of dispute.

RULES

• RULES FOR VISIT TO TSOMGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR
• The permit for Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir is issued on the day of visit within 08.00 AM – 09.00 AM. Sometime due to huge tourist inflow the issuance of permit might take extra time. Because of the transport restrictions guests are required to leave the hotel by 7:30AM & might have to wait at Tsomgo stand for some time. Otherwise they have to come of their own to the Tsmogo stand latest by 8:30 AM. While returning from Tsomgo Lake guests will be dropped at Tsomgo stand from where return journey by local taxies has to be arrange by the guests. If the permit is not issued due to weather problems as well as military restrictions, then alternate trip will be offered. However, if the journey starts but is interrupted by some problem & sufficient time is there in hand, and then the following points will be covered additionally and no refund will be made -

• RULES FOR VISIT TO NATHULA
• Nathula visit is depends absolutely on the permission of defense dep., weather & road condition. Only limited permits are issued for which necessary papers are required prior to the schedule tour. Guest must take their decision to cover this place much before. Then and there decision will not make it possible to Nathula Pass travel. It is suggested on direct payment basis. Nathu-la remains open for the visitors on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
• Nathula is NOT ADVISABLE for guest having problem with blood pressure, knee & heart. Since Nathula is a restricted area, any time army can seal for security reasons. In such case tour will only be till Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir and no refund will be allowed for unutilized services.
• Please note if guest want to cover Nathula Pass @ Rs.4000/- to Rs. 5000/- (approx) will be supplementary cost per vehicle. Payment direct to the transporter. But we need the soft copy of following documents at least 10 days before the journey.
• 1) Id card original & photo copy
• 2) Passport size photo

Payment Terms & Methods :
* 20% Advance Percentage of total booking amount

Cancellation & Refund Policy :
In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:-

CANCELLATION CHARGES

Non Refundable Booking Amount: Rs.1000/- or 5% of Tour Cost / Service Cost
Any time after booking but before 60 days of departure date: 5% of total tour / service cost .
Between 60 days to 45 days prior to departure date: 25 % of the total Tour / service cost.
Between 44 days & 22 prior to departure date: 40 % of the total Tour / service cost.
Between 21 days to date of departure: 100 % of the total Tour / service cost.

Flight cancellation charges shall be charged at actual in addition to the cancellation charges mentioned herein above.
In case of 100 % cancellation charges it is deemed to mean and include all the charges paid including the air ticket cost and no refund will be paid in case of 100% cancellation charges.
