We use English speaking chauffeurs, and he has a basic notion of English and can follow your instructions easily. However, please note drivers are not allowed to act as guides at monuments & museums as per the rules of the Ministry of Tourism. During the day vehicle at disposal for the above itinerary for all visits, sightseeing and excursions. Vehicle will be remaining at your disposal (8 – 9 hours) for all visits, sightseeing, & excursion.

Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

    Arrival in Delhi. Upon arrival gain assistance at the airport & transfer to your hotel by a airconditioned car. Stay Overnight.

  • Day 2 : Delhi

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visit 1. JAMA MASJID Completed in 1658 this is one of the largest Mosques in India, 2. CHANDNI CHOWK One of the main markets of Delhi, this ancient market which was the pride of the Mughals, still fascinates the visitors with its colourful crowds and varied shops, 3. RAJ GHAT A serene and touching tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. P.M Visit of NEW DELHI – Visiting 1. QUTAB MINAR In 1199, Qutbuddin raised the Qutab Minar either as a victory tower or as a minaret to the adjacent mosque. At 72.5 m , it is the highest stone tower in India and one of the finest Islamic structures ever raised in India. 2. HUMAYUNS TOMB Built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum, in the middle of 16th century, this Red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of the Taj Mahal. The structure is one of the best examples of Mughal Architecture. 3. INDIA GATE India Gate is a 42m high stone arch of triumph. It bears the name of the 85,000 Indian Army soldiers who died in the campaigns of World War One, the North West frontier operations and the 1919 Afghan Fiasco. Below the arch is the memorial to the Unknown Soldier. Drive around the Presidential Palace. Overnight.

  • Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur

    After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur by air-conditioned car. (Journey time approx 4hrs & 30 mn) On arrival, proceed to your hotel. P.M. Visit of Jaipur: Also called Pink City. Jaipur has always played a prominent role in the quest for power between the Mughals and the Rajputs. Today it is the capital of Rajasthan. A bustling city full of colour and movement it is today knows for its handicrafts and manual printing on cotton fabrics, which is exported the world over. Visit of JANTAR MANTAR, an observatory, constructed in the 18th century and the City Palace, which now houses a Museum. Overnight.

  • Day 4 : Jaipur

    Breakfast at the hotel. A.M. Visit of Amber Fort. by air-conditioned car. (12 Kms from Jaipur) Fort Amber which was constructed between the 10th and 11th century by a tribe called Minas fell into the hands of the Rajputs in 1037 and remained the capital of the Rajputs till 1728 when the capital was shifted to the newly founded city of Jaipur. It is perhaps one of the most imperial and dominating forts in India. You will be climbing up to the Fort on the back of an elephant, which in itself is a unique experience! P.M. Visit of Sanganer a little village in the immediate vicinity of Jaipur it is known for its handicrafts especially blue pottery. Overnight.

  • Day 5 : Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra

    After breakfast at hotel, leave for Fatehpur Sikri by air-conditioned car. Journey time approx 4 Hrs. On arrival, visit of Fatehpur Sikri perched atop a rocky ridge 37 km west of Agra, Fatehpur Sikri came into being four centuries ago when the Emperor Akbar, created the first planned city in Indo Islamic style. The city was actualised with great energy, but was completely abandoned a little more than a decade later. Fatehpur Sikri is built in red sandstone, and is a beautiful blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural element. The sandstone is richly ornamented with carving and fretwork. After visit continue by air-conditioned car for Agra. Journey time approx 1 h 15 mn. On arrival, proceed to your hotel. Overnight.

  • Day 6 : Agra

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Taj Mahal, the monumental labour of love of a great ruler for his beloved queen is sheer poetry in marble. One of the wonders of the world this 17th century monument took 22 years in the making. An estimated 20,000 people worked to complete this enchanting mausoleum. Breakfast at hotel. A.M.: Visit the Fort (Emperor Akbar commissioned the construction of this fort in 1565, although additions were continued to be made till the time of his grandson Shah Jahan. The Fort houses some exquisite buildings within like the Moti Masjid, Diwan e- Am, Diwan Khas, and Sheesh Mahal.) P.M. Visit of Itmad-ud-Daulahs mausoleum (Itmad-ul-Daulah, Situated 4 km North of the Taj, on the left bank of the Yamuna, is the perfectly proportioned marble mausoleum of Itmad-ud-Daulah. Noor Jehan constructed this splendid marble monument in her fatheras memory. This double storied marble tomb is complete with mosaic, inlaid with semi-precious stones. Continue with a visit to the markets of Agra. Stay Overnight.

  • Day 7 : Agra - Delhi - Kathmandu

    After Breakfast at the hotel leave for Delhi by an air-conditioned car. Journey time approx 4 Hrs en route visit Sikandra (Sikandra was built in 1492 by Sikander Lodhi, a ruler of one of the last dynasties of the Delhi Sultanate). Akbar, in his time, ordered the re – construction of Sikandra, this time as a site for his mausoleum but he died before it could be completed. The work was completed by his son Jehangir in 1613. The tomb is a combination of Muslim and Hindu architectural styles. The building of red sandstone is four storeys tall, approximately 31 metres in height. The first three storeys are of red sandstone, while the fourth is entirely of marble. On arrival in Delhi proceed to airport to for connecting flight to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu assistance at airport & transfer to your hotel by car. Overnight.

  • Day 8 : Kathmandu / Swayambunath / Patan / Kathmandu

    Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, a complex of monasteries of all faiths started in 460 A.D. by King Mana Devi of the Licchavi era, on the western fringes of the city. The imposing structure is recognized as a major landmark of Kathmandu and is distinguished by its population of freely roaming monkeys. The Swayambhunath complex consists of a stupa, a variety of shrines and temples. A Tibetan monastery, museum and library are more recent additions. The stupa has Buddhas eyes and eyebrows painted on. Between them, there is something painted which looks like the nose – but is the Nepali symbol of unity. Embark on a privately guided architectural tour of the ancient city of Patan. Once a separate kingdom, Patan is home to over 1,200 Buddhist shrines and is famed for the beauty of its elegant Newari architecture, which is on prominent display in the central Durbar Square, one of the Kathmandu Valley’s seven World Heritage sites. The square is fronted by an amazing assortment of buildings and the ancient Royal Palace. Explore the gracefully carved and ornamented chowks (courtyards) of the palace, as well as its temples, including the Krishna Mandir, the only temple in Nepal with 21 shrines and which is built entirely of stone. Patan is famous for the exceptional work of its bronze craftsmen sculpting the gods of the Hindu pantheon. Later on stop at the Tibetan refugee camp famous for its high quality arts and crafts (woolen carpets, tankha paintings…etc.). If you have not done it the day before visit the old city of Katmandu. Overnight.

  • Day 9 : Kathmandu / Pokhara

    After breakfast you would proceed on a journey to Pokhara (a journey of approximately 7 hours). Pokhara is located at the foot of the mighty Annapurna range. Snow-clad peaks, with snow-fed lakes and rivers make the valley of Pokhara one of the most picturesque natural attractions in the world. Immerse yourself in the peace of this region, with its tropical climate giving way to lush vegetation. The valley is made up of dense forest, flowing rivers, luminous lakes and of course, the sublime mountains. Overnight.

  • Day 10 : Pokhara

    Get up early to see the sun rise over the Annapurnas from Sarangkot view point. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Enjoy some free time before heading to the Pokhara to explore the local bazaar. In the later afternoon enjoy a boat ride on Lake Phewa which affords fantastic views of the Annapurna range. Overnight.

  • Day 11 : Pokhara / Chitwan

    Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning get ready for an excursion to Chitwan. It is situated at the foot of the himalayas and set in lush sub-tropical lowlands, chitwan national park is a treasure trove of wildlife. After lunch join your guide and tour manager for a short briefing and an introduction to the park. The daily programme may vary and dependents on local conditions such as weather and recent animal sightings. Time for an introduction to the mightiest 4×4, the elephant. He or she will be your companion and sturdy transport for a thrilling safari ride. In your lofty seat you are high above the ground and able to see the animals who take refuge in the tall grass. As you sway through the jungle terrain look out for grazing bison, deer, monkeys and wild boar. You will probably need the sharp eyes of the local specialist guide to seek out the rarer leopard. If luck is on your side you may even catch a glimpse of that most elusive creature, the royal Bengal tiger. Dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 12 : Chitwan

    An early start today for a morning nature walk. You dont want to miss the potentially beautiful sunrise over the forest. In the first light of day, the mist rises and Chitwan begins to wake. Before long, you will hear a whole jungle choir of birdlife singing a dawn chorus. Spend time with the highly skilled elephant trainers and learn more about the fascinating animals in their care. In the afternoon leave the land for water and board a traditional dugout canoe for a river safari. As you drift along listen to tales of the riverbank from your local specialist guide. Look out for indian otter, grey headed and himalayas fish eagles and gharial crocodile. Watch out for rare one-horned rhino, they may be grazing close to the river bank. Jeeps will be waiting to take you on a safarI ride back through the park. Keep your camera ready for the big cats and look out for sloth bear, Indian wild dogs, and wild elephants. Dinner and Overnight.

  • Day 13 : Chitwan / Katmandu (bodnath)

    Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning drive back to Kathmandu (approx. 05 hours). In the afternoon, visit the Boudhanath Stupa, another of the valleys UNESCO sites, and one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal. Located about 7 miles from the center of Kathmandu on the northeastern outskirts of the city, the stupa of Boudhanath dominates the skyline. Throughout the day, pilgrims can be seen circumambulating the stupa chanting mantras, some completing the circuit while prostrating themselves at each step. The pilgrims continue to circle into the night when the temple is illuminated by butter lamps. Anyone is free to join in, but remember to walk around the stupa in a clockwise direction and also to spin the prayer wheels clockwise. Boudhanath was built in the fifth century by Lichchhavi King Mana Dev on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. The colossal and ancient stupa is one of the biggest in the world. Overnight.

  • Day 14 : Kathmandu / Pashupatinath / Bhaktapur / Kathamandu

    Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Pashupatinath, roughly 20 minutes from Boudhanath, and as sacred to Nepals Hindus as Boudhanath is to its Buddhists. On the banks of the Bagmati River, people flock here to purify themselves in the waters and to guarantee their relatives immortality by having them cremated on the ghats and their ashes scattered. The main temple is off-limits to non-Hindus, but you can wander the tranquil grounds and observe the activities of the temple from across the river. Continue onto Bhaktapur. Known as Bhadgaon which literally translated means the

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and assistance for boarding the return flight.

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing, which must be signed by the person that signed the Reservation Form. If you cancel on or before 30 days before the first day of the tour, we will retain your deposit to cover our costs. In addition, if the cancellation notification is received less than 30 days prior to the first day of the tour, additional cancellation charges shall be as follows: AMOUNT OF CANCELLATION CHARGES: –
29-15 Days before the first day of the tour – 50%
14-7 Days before the first day of the tour 75%
Less than 7 Days before the first day of the tour 100%

CHANGES BY YOU:
If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you, plus an amendment fee of USD 50 per revision per booking. If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by our suppliers and us in attempting to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided to us in writing and are subject to any airline fees or penalties.
