Highlight of Vietnam 9 Days/8 Nights

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi where you are welcomed by the guide and transferred to the hotel. After leaving luggage at the bell desk, meet the guide and begin a Hanoi city tour visiting Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake, Ho Chi Minh complex including the mausoleum area and houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Note dressing requirements for mausoleum and temple visits and that Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays and closed annually for maintenance around 15 June to 15 August. Continue to the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam from the 11th century, and Hoa Lo Prison Museum known as the Hanoi Hilton. Finish the tour and transfer to the hotel for check in. Evening free at leisure.

After breakfast and hotel check out meet the driver for a private transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site noted for thousands of islands and spectacular scenery. At noon be welcomed and check in to the cruise with lunch served as the vessel sails. The afternoon offers a range of activities including cave visits, kayaking, swimming, sunbathing and a cooking class, followed by dinner on board and evening programs with the crew. Overnight onboard the cruise in Ha Long Bay.

Start the day on the cruise with optional Tai Chi instruction or sunbathing on the sundeck to enjoy the dawn scenery, then have breakfast and continue the cruise itinerary which may include a cave visit or floating village. Brunch is served on board before check out around 11:00. Meet the driver and transfer back to Hanoi and then to Noi Bai International Airport for a flight to Danang. Arrive in Danang, meet the guide and transfer to the hotel for check in.

Breakfast and free time in Danang. At 11:00 meet the guide and transfer to Cam Thanh Coconut Village to experience a traditional basket boat ride and the peaceful canals. Visit Hoi An Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, walking narrow streets with historic buildings, temples and traditional houses. In late afternoon take a Hoai River boat ride with lantern making on board and release of lanterns at dusk. Explore Hoi An at night enjoying the lantern lit streets and night market. Dinner at an Indian restaurant at 18:30 payable directly by guest, then return to Danang and check in at the hotel at 20:30.

After breakfast meet your guide and driver and depart for Ba Na Hills. Arrive at the foot of Ba Na Hills and take the cable car up. Visit Debay Wine Cellar (entrance payable by guest), Le Jardin DAmour Flower Garden and the Golden Bridge for photo opportunities. Visit Linh Ung pagoda with a 27 m Buddhist statue. Lunch is payable directly by guests. At 12:30 conquer the peak of Chua Mountain at 1487 m to visit Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple, explore the French Square and enjoy games in Fantasy Park, one of Vietnam's largest indoor amusement parks. At 15:30 return by cable car down the mountain and transfer back to the hotel in Danang. Evening free at leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Meet the driver (no guide) and transfer to Danang airport to board a flight to Phu Quoc (suggested flight VJ719 10:00/11:45). On arrival at Phu Quoc International Airport meet the tour guide and transfer to the hotel for check in. In the afternoon visit Vinpearl Grand attractions including Venice Canal boat ride in Lake of Love, Teddy Bear Museum (entry payable by guest), Bamboo Legend Sculpture, Contemporary Art Urban Park and Charm of Venice show with outdoor street performances. Later visit the night market and have dinner at an Indian restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel then meet the driver (no guide) and transfer to Vinpearl Safari. Aim to arrive around 10:00 though the park opens at 08:00 to see animals when active. Between 10:30 and 11:30 explore the Open Zoo with giraffes elephants tigers and other animals. From 11:30 to 12:30 join the Safari Bus Tour at clients own expense, followed by wildlife shows or animal interactions at feeding areas from 12:30 to 13:30. Have a quick lunch or snack at Giraffe Restaurant optional on direct payment before heading to Vin Wonders at 14:30 to explore Adventure Land Water Park Fantasy World and Viking Village with rides payable directly by clients. At 18:30 meet the driver for transfer back to the hotel. Evening free at leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel and meet the SIC tour guide at the lobby between 08:15 and 08:30. Transfer to the harbour and board the boat to visit three southern islands including Xuong Island or Gam Ghi for snorkeling at the coral reef and May Rut Trong Island with a white sand lagoon for beach activities water sports and chillout. Enjoy lunch on board or on an island. The boat then arrives at Thom Island where you can enjoy Aquatopia water park with more than 20 modern games. Return via cable car with panoramic island views and sunset rides (cable car ride around 25 minutes) and reach your hotel around 17:30. Evening free at leisure. Note islands may change due to weather conditions.

Early morning transfer at 05:00 to Phu Quoc Airport with a packed breakfast to board an early flight to Ho Chi Minh City (suggested flight VJ320 07:25/08:30). On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport meet the guide and driver and proceed for lunch at an Indian restaurant payable directly by clients. Later start a Ho Chi Minh City tour visiting Reunification Palace the War Remnants Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral exterior. At 15:00 transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your international flight departure.
