Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

ARRIVE SRINAGAR

Arrive at Srinagar, meet our driver on arrival and transfer to Houseboat. Afternoon visitMogul Gardens “Nishat” (The Garden of Pleasure) and “Shalimar” (Abode of All). Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard & on return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jeweler ornaments. Also visit Shankaracharya Temple. While returning visit to the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machie & wood of a walnut. Overnight at the Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 2

SRINAGAR – KARGIL

After breakfast, drive to Kargil with a view of magnificent on Mountains on Sindh valley.Stop over at Sonamarg for lunch & explore around for a while. Later drive towards Kargil passing through Zojila pass. Enjoy breath-taking views of magnificent mountains & stop over at Drass for Tea. Upon reaching Kargil, overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3

KARGIL – LEH

After breakfast, proceed towards Leh enroute Namikla pass & visit Lamayuru monastery which is one of the oldest monastery of Leh region & later pass over magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame & Sangam point of river. Dinner at overnight stay at Leh

Day 4

LEH (SIGHT SEEING)

After having breakfast proceed towards the market visit of leh and whole day at Leh.

LEH – PANGONG LAKE

Pangong Lake

Leave early morning after breakfast leave for Pangong Lake through Changla passes 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 mtrs enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel / Camp in Pangong

Day 6

PANGONG LAKE – LEH

Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of it running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDER”. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. Dinner & overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7

LEH – NUBRA

Breakfast at the hotel. Early Morning Leave Leh for NUBRA VALLEY passing through Horzey & Gangles Village. The road then rises to reach Khardongla (5602 Mts.) the world’s highest Motorable road & enjoy the landscape & the beautiful birds eye view of the Leh town. Halt for a picnic lunch at Khardongla village. Later proceed to Khalsar at Shyok Valley 35 Kms by drive. The road after crossing Khalsar Bridge at Shyok River enters Nubra Valley & then proceed along the Nubra River to arrive in the afternoon at Tegar or Kyegar as locally called. Meals & Overnight stay in tents at Lhari-Mo North Camp at Sumur (Kyegar & Sumur are very close by) OR At Tirith Camp at Tirith. Dinner

and overnight at the Camp.

Day 8

NUBRA – LEH

Breakfast at the Camp. Drive back the same route for Leh with picnic lunch. On arrival in Leh, check in at the Hotel. Afternoon free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in the camps

LEH – LEH AIRPORT

Have you breakfast in the morning and we move towards the leh airport to reach back home.
