Kerala With Kanyakumari Tour

Board the flight from your hometown and arrive Cochin. On arrival, you will meet a Ghoomteraho representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Cochin. Also visit Eravikulam National Park and explore its rich flora and fauna. Relish the local food at a good restaurant. Later in the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam. Enjoy the echo phenomenon at the famous Echo Point. Return to your hotel and spend evening at leisure. Have a warm, hearty dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

After early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and have lunch (on your own). In the afternoon, proceed for a stirring boat cruise through the backwaters near Thekkady. Thekkady is known for its Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. During your cruise, stopover at this fascinating town and observe the wild animals in their natural habitat. Later in the evening, visit the theatre and enjoy the traditional Kathakali Show (in a non-air-conditioned theatre). Drive to Kumarakom and reach there by afternoon. On arrival, check in at the hotel, unpack and relax. Later in the evening, go for an evening boat cruise on the backwaters for an hour. After early breakfast today proceeds to Kanyakumari- the southernmost tip of Indian peninsula. On reaching get in the queue to catch a ferry to visit the Swami Vivekananda Memorial Rock .Spend around an hour and get back to Kanyakumari. If time permits you can also visit Gandhi Mandapam & Kanyakumari Temple. After having lunch start for kovalam. Enroute (if time permits) take the Poovar Island Boat Ride to Golden sand beach. Later reach hotel and rest. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and start for Trivandrum airport/railway station. Holiday ends with fond memories.
