Lachen - Lachung North Sikkim - 2 Night - 3 Day

After Breakfast proceeds to Lachen 128 km, 6 hours drive, Enroute visit ButterFly Waterfall / Seven Sister waterfall, Naga waterfall, Chungthang, Lachen a tribal village in one of the remotest places of Sikkim. Snow clad peaks overlook the village. Lachen experiences heavy snowfall during winter and it is the gateway to Gurudongmar Lake (17,300 feet. Overnight stay at Lachen.

After breakfast, We will leave Lachen drive to Thangu for about 19 kms, Further drive to Gurudongmar Lake: 17,300 feet high 33 kms, one way. Lake is bluish in color, at the backdrop mountain peaks covered pop out in a majestic scale. It is heaven on earth. Later, We returned to lachen. Lunch was a further drive to Lachung for 2 hours, 54 km. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Set out for an early morning tour to the Bhim nala fall also known as Amitabh Bachchan fall due to its height. The water fall is falling from a very High Mountain and it looks like a three stage water fall, at a Distance of 13 km from Lachung, one of the Tallest waterfalls in Sikkim. Yumthang (11880 feet), valley covered with snow-clad mountains with a large number of species of Rhododendrons and varieties of Primula Flowers. They bloom during spring and the summer. Further drive to Yumesamdong (15000 feet) or locally known as zero point for 26 kms. Drive through a hilly-winding road and arrive at Yumesamdong where there is a hot spring and the mountains are crystal clear. Most of the time Yumesamdong has snow in abundance. Zero Point is an optional tour, payment has to be done to driver directly which comes to Rs.3500/per car, later return to Lachung, Lunch further drive to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
