Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi - Leh

Early morning transfer to Delhi airport to board a flight to Leh. Upon arrival at the Leh Airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Since you are arriving at 11000 ft, we strongly recommend to take complete rest on the first day where you should not indulge yourself in any strenuous activity. Rest of the day is free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Leh. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.
Day 2

Leh Local Sightseeing

Leh Palace

Morning after breakfast, drive to Thiksey village, visit Thiksey monastery and drive to Shey Village to visit Shey Palace and Gompa. Later visit Sindhu Ghat. Then return to Leh for lunch. Post lunch visit Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa for beautiful sunset view. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3

Leh - Khardung La - Nubra Valley (140 Kms / approx 05-06 Hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. Arrive Nubra and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride (On Own). Later if time permits visit Hunder and Diskit monasteries and check in at Deluxe Camp. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the camp.

Note: Please note that there will be no accommodation options (camping) available in Nubra Valley till first week of May. In that case the tourist will do excursion to Khardung La and stay at Leh in place of Nubra Valley on day 03.

Day 4

Nubra Valley - Leh

Morning after Breakfast proceed for Leh, once again driving via Khardungla pass the World Highest Motorable road. Evening explore Leh bazaar for souvenir, visit Leh Jokhang or Leh Mosque by foot. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5

Excursion to Pangong Tso (185 Kms / approx 04 Hrs One Way)

Pangong Lake

After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake at 14, 500 ft. via Chang La (17,350 ft. third highest motorable road in the world.) Reach Pangong Lake, the highest salt water lake in the world. Post Lunch, leave for Leh. Evening at your own leisure. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

Day 6

Excursion to Sham Valley (60 Kms/approx 02 Hrs One Way)

After breakfast, depart for the beautiful Sham valley. Enroute Visit Spituk Monastery, Ladakh Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and Confluence of Zanskar and Indus river. Evening return to Leh. Evening is free for leisure activities. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.

Day 7

Leh - Delhi

After breakfast, Depart to Leh airport to board the flight back to Delhi.

Due to sudden change in altitude, we advice people travelling to Ladakh region to take sufficient time in acclimatization. Avoid running / Fast walking. This tour is not recommended for people suffering Heart Problems, Epilepsy and Asthma, please consult your doctor before booking on this tour.
Drink plenty of water. Always carry water bottle with you while on sightseeing.
At Nubra Valley / Kargil, a very basic accommodation in available.
The Khardung La pass may remain close till first week of may in that case the tourist will do excursion to Khadung La and stay at Leh in place of Nubra Valley on day 04.
For guests who have booked tour ex Mumbai / Bangalore / Chennai / Kolkata / Ahmedabad, and staying 01 night in Delhi ( before or after main tour ), Delhi sightseeing can be arranged at additional cost. Please consult with our sales team for more details.
