Manali Ladakh Trek - 16 Days

Arrival Delhi Fly from your country for the capital of India – Delhi. Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, royals gem representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Namaste dinner will be held at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Leh Full Day Sightseeing (Shey, Thiksey, Hemis) After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, fly for Leh – the commercial and administrative centre of Ladakh in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Upon arrival in Leh, royals gem representative will assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Later embark on full day sightseeing tours to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. During your sightseeing you will see various Gompas. Entire region is full of Buddhist Gompas. In the evening return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Leh Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark of full day sightseeing of Leh including Spitok, Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa. After exploring the capital of Ladakh, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Leh / Spitok / Jingchan (11,154 FT/3380 M) Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Spitok village by car. Start your trek from Spitok to Jingchan. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Jingchin / Yuruste (13520 FT/4,120M) After hearty breakfast trek 5-6 hrs and finally reach at Yuruste via Rumbak village. During your trekking you will have to cross a lot of wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp at Yuruste.

Yuruste / Skiu (9900FT/3145M) After a relaxed breakfast at the camp continue your trek. Trek to Gandhala. From here you will see spectacular views of white fringed mountains. Trek down to Skiu valley where you will see a number of streams. Get enchanted with the spectacular panorama of the valley. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Skiu / Markha (13,078 FT/4,878M) Have a hearty breakfast at the camp and continue your trek from Skiu to the Markha valley. It will be a very pleasant walk up. Markha is one of the biggest and loveliest sections in the valley. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Markha / Thachunche (14,862FT/4,878M) After a relaxed breakfast at the camp, continue trek from Markha to Thachunche. Trek eastward, climb slowly up the valley through the pictorial village of Markha and its exotic monastery which is worth seeing. Passing through various small villages finally arrive at Thachunche. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp near a small stream in Thachunche.

Thachunche / Nimaling (16,097FT/4,878 M) After hearty breakfast at the camp continue your trek from Thachunche to the Nimaling. Nimaling is a plain area where with tiny ponds and streams flowing all over its meadows. You will see here animals like sheep, goats, horses, yak, Himalayan marmots and white tailed hares. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Nimaling / Shang Sumdho (13,230-FT/3,973 M) After hearty breakfast at the hotel, continue your trek from Nimaling to Shang Sumdho crossing to the north of Markha. Climb up to Kongmarula. Trek down to the head of Martselang valley and crossing many streams and enjoying stunning views finally arrive in Shang Sumdho. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Sumdho / Hemis /Leh (11,200 FT/3,400 M) Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel and then continue your trek to the village of Martselang where royals gem representative will be met waiting you with a jeep. From here you will reach Hemis monastery and finally you will be transferred to Leh. Here you will check into designated hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Leh Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on shopping in the local markets of Leh. Also enjoy white water rafting. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Delhi Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel and embark on the sightseeing of Delhi. Some major attractions of Delhi are India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, President House, Raj Ghat, Mughal Garden,Chandani Chawlk, Connaught Place, Delhi Metro and many more.

Dep. Delhi Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and embark on shopping in the city. You can also spend this day at relax or in your own independent activities.
