Mardi Himal Trek is a newly opened trek started in 2012 and is located in Annapurna region virtually under the spectacular Machhapuchhre. This is a richly diverse trek that takes you through beautiful forested areas though to rocky mountain terrain and base camps. The total day for Mardi Himal Trek Nepal is 6 to 11 days. This trek is considered as the best destination to avoid the crowd. It offers amazing views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre and Manaslu ranges. Jhinu Hot Spring, Mardi Himal base camp, and Ghandruk village are the major attraction of this trek. The trail winds along small paths through ancient rhododendron forests, until you climb out at around 3,300 m. The trek starts at Kande after 1 hours driving from Pokhara. Then our trek heads up to Pothana (1950 m) then to Deurali (2100 m).

Mardi Himal trek contains all of the elements of a classic Nepal trekking experience including villages, wildlife, panoramic mountain views and range of landscape from forest to high alpine. It is superbly beautiful and is considered sacred. The Tea houses on Mardi Himal Trek are basic and offer only the essential items to trekkers. Though the trek lacks a number of services, it is one of the best shorts treks away from the crowd and commercial trekking routes. During the trek, we can see the little settlement of Tamang and Gurung people all the way up to the base of Mardi Himal (4430 m).
