Day 1 : Arrival Delhi
Meet and assist our representative upon arrival at Delhi Welcome in Indian tradition. After transfer to Hotel with assistance. Rest of the day free for leisure. Over night at Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi
After breakfast proceed to historic city visiting Old Delhi visiting the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan of Taj Mahal fame, Rajghat - memorial of Mahatma Gandhi & a Rickshaw ride past through the silver street in Chandani Chowk., later sightseeing continues to visit New Delhi include Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India's leading industrial families; Humayun's Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai's Temple, Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty. Over night at Delhi.
Day 3 : Delhi - Agra
Morning after breakfast leave by surface for Agra enroute visit Sikandra. Check in to hotel later visit the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Also visit the Agra fort – the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. Evening free to explore the Agra's rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 4 : Agra - Fathepur Sikri - Jaipur
Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur, Via Emperor Akbar's deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, an almost perfectly preserved 4oo year old Mughal capital. Quintessential Mughal city that was the capital of their empire in the 16th and 17th Centuries. Evening optional visit for Choki Dhani village for Dinner. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5 : Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, situated outside the Walled City, is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajasthani forts. You can have the unique experience of riding on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur including, City Palace in the heart of Jaipur known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum with its large collection of woodwork. Another monument near the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh-I, the founder ruler of Jaipur. Stop at Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a seven storied facade and one of the most picturesque monuments constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 6 : Jaipur - Pushkar
Morning drive Pushkar, Pushkar, known for worlds biggest cattle fair every year in month of November, with glorious celebration. A city of Pilgrimage from time immemorial with over 500 temples and ghats Pushkar begets a legacy of timeless architectural heritage. Pushkar radiates an ambience of peace and spirituality that casts a lure to visit again and again. After relaxation take sightseeing tour of the city visiting temple of Lord Brahma surrounded by Pushkar Lake. On the banks of the lake, you will see devotees taking dip into the holy waters of Pushkar & offering prayers. Also visit the Pushkar Fair site, which is right opposite the Pushkar Lake. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 : Pushkar - Ranthambore
After breakfast drive to Ranthambore. Arrive there by lunch hours. Check-in the hotel. After noon free for rest and relaxation, Overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Day 8 : Ranthambore
Early morning visit sanctuary to spot a wide variety of wild animals including Tiger, deer, wild boars etc. Return back to the hotel for breakfast. Later after lunch yet another visit to wildlife sanctuary to encounter the missed out species during your morning visit. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 : Ranthambore - Kota
Morning after breakfast drive to Kota. Rajasthan's largest industrial town well known for its Kota Sarees and also for a miniature school of art which specialized in hunting scenes. Visit the City Palace and Fort and also see Rao Madho Singh Museum. Then visit Jagmandir located on the island in Kishore Sagar Lake. Go for a water cruiser by taking a paddleboat to reach the spot. Also visit the Govt. Museum and the famous gardens of Chambal and Chatter Bilas. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 10 : Kota - Bundi - Chittorgarh
Morning after breakfast drive to Bundi, 36kms from Kota a tiny picturesque town. Visit the Taragarh or Atar Fort a magnificent edifice is a fine example of the Rajput architecture, housing some of the superb Bundi murals. Continue sightseeing by visiting Chatrasagar a fascinating picture gallery, you will be enthralled with elaborated colorful paintings on the walls depicting scenes from the 'Ragamala' 'Raaslila' - the tales of Radha-Krishna. Later visit Sukh Mahal, an underground tunnel is believed to run from the Sukh Mahal to the old palace. Proceed to Chittorgarh. Overnight stay in Hotel at Chittorgarh.
Day 11 : Chittorgarh - Udaipur
Morning after breakfast drive to Udaipur. Afternoon free to take a walking tour on your own through the narrow lanes and back streets of Udaipur up to the Washing Ghats at the lake Pichola. Visit one of the fine downtown restaurants for an optional dinner. Overnight at Hotel in Udaipur.
Day 12 : Udiapur
Morning sightseeing of Udaipur visiting The City Palace and Museum is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Pratap Memorial has the bronze statue of Maharana Pratap, the legendary warrior king of Udaipur. Jagdish Temple which was built in 1651 AD. Saheliyon Ki Bari is a small ornamental garden. Late afternoon enjoy boat-ride on Lake Pichola visiting many Ghats (banks) of washing, bathing etc and enjoy excellent views of the Lake Palace and City Palace. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13 : Udaipur - Ranakpur - Kumbalgarh
Morning after breakfast drive to Kumbhalgarh. En-route visit the Ranakpur Temples, you will be bewitched at the temple sight with 200 pillars, none of which are alike, supporting its 29 halls. Also visit the Temple of the Sun God with its erotic sculptures. Reach Kumbhalgarh, check in the hotel. Lying90-km northwest of Udaipur, the city has the attraction of the massive fort, encompassed by a 36-km long wall with 7 majestic gates and 7 ramparts. Stay overnight in Hotel at Kumbhalgarh.
Day 14 : Kumbalgarh - Jodhpur
Morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur. The city is encompassed by a high wall -10km long with 8 Gates and innumerable bastions. Relax at the hotel and visit the museum of Umaid Bhawan Palace. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 15 : Jodhpur
Morning after breakfast goes for a village safari in the jeep and have a rare glimpse into the rich culture and true essence of India. Abundant wildlife (game) and memorable moments of the great desert landscape fascinates one while driving along the countryside. After noon sight seeing of Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort founded in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha (after whom the city is named). The Fort is intricately adorned with long carved panels and latticed windows of exquisite designs in red sandstone. Also visit Jaswant Thada- an imposing white marble cenotaph built to commemorate the acts of bravery and generosity of the rulers in 19th century. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 16 : Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Morning after breakfast drive to Jaisalmer, Driving through the Thar Desert and arrive at Jaisalmer, one of the jewels in India's crown also known as Golden city. Exquisite wood and sandstone buildings dot the town and within Jaisalmer Fort are homes, hotels and shops hidden in ancient lane ways. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 17 : Jaisalmer
Visiting the Jaisalmer Fort - The oldest living Fort in the world having astonishing Haveli’s (Mansions) such as Salim Singh and Patwo ki haveli. In the afternoon, proceed to the Sam or Khuri village to experience Camel safari on sand dunes. View the sunset from the dunes, as the sky is set on fire. Return to the village for dinner amidst Desert Folk musicians playing desert symphony and folk dances. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.
Day 18 : Jaisalmer - Bikaner
Morning after breakfast drive to Bikaner. In afternoon enjoy the sightseeing of Bikaner. Fortified city situated on the ancient caravan route of Thar Desert 32 Kms. From Bikaner is Deshnoke, famous for its Rat Temple. (Karni Mata Temple). Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 19 : Bikaner - Mandawa
Morning after breakfast drive to Mandawa - situated in Shekhawati region, known as "Open air art gallery of Rajasthan" covering towns such as - Nawalgarh - Dundlod - Mandawa. The Shekhawati region is famous for its beautiful painted havelis (mansions), constructed by merchants of this region in 18th and 19th centuries. Overnight stay in Mandawa.
Day 20 : Mandawa - Delhi & Departure
Morning after breakfast drive back to Delhi (230Kms/05Hrs) drive. Arrive Delhi at take half day shopping tour later take optional Farewell Dinner at the Indian Restaurant than proceed to the International Airport to board flight for your onwards journey to home town.
