Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 Jaipur Arrival- Introduction To Jaipur

    Reach Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. When you have registered into your hotel, have a short sleep. In the afternoon, see the City Palace. The palace possesses royal courtyards, a small number of museums and painted walls displaying the stories of Maharajas. Next visit the ancient observatory Jantar Mantar. These large stone tools are spectacular, and the guide demonstrates how people studied stars in the past through these enormous stone tools. During the evening, take a stroll to Hawa Mahal which is the Palace of Winds. The pink walls are pretty and many small windows light up in the evening in the sunset. Walk through the markets and have dinner at the hotel at the end of the day.

  • Day 2 Jaipur Forts & Gardens

    Post breakfast drive to Amber Fort situated on a hill. You can go up by jeep or on foot. There are large halls, a mirror palace and wide courtyards, all inside. The fort is overlooking green Aravalli hills, and the view is magnificent. Close by it is Jaigarh Fort where one of the largest cannons in the world is found. It is less congested, hence you are able to sit down and take pleasure in the broad walls. Post lunch visit Nahargarh Fort, a sightseeing location which has sunset views. Then in the evening spend some time in the Sisodia Rani Garden which has fountains, painted pavilions and flowers. Stay overnight in Jaipur.

  • Day 3 Pushkar- Sacred Lake And Bazaar.

    Go to Pushkar, a holy town that has a lake and temples. Check in then visit the Brahma Temple which is one of the few temples of Lord Brahma. Its plain manner conceals great loyalty Walk around Pushkar Lake. There is peace in the ghats, pilgrims are around, and peace is brought about by the bells. One should not miss seeing Pushkar Bazaar that is full of handicrafts, leather bags, silver jewelry, and colorful clothes, particularly during the evening. Local shops should be tried before going back to the hotel, and have a sweet lassi.

  • Day 4 Udaipur -palaces And Lakes.

    Udaipur is the City of Lakes and it provides a leisure day. Have lunch and a rest at the hotel after which visit the City Palace. The palace is big complex of glass work, court and balconies and overlooking Lake Pichola. Then go a boating on Lake Pichola. It is quiet and you have the murmur of the water, the reflection of the palaces around, and hills of Aravalli.The day ends at Saheliyon Ki Bari, the Garden of Maidens. It has lotus pools, fountains and marble pavilions.

  • Day 5 Udaipur- Leisure And Temples.

    Spend the time at rest in Udaipur. Go to Visit Jagdish Temple, an ancient temple of beautiful carvings and serene atmosphere. Tour local markets with small paintings, wooden toys and brightly colored turbans.You can also take your seat by Fateh Sagar Lake and observe boats and locals playing in cool breeze.During the evening, go to Bagore ki Haveli to attend Rajasthani dance, music or puppet shows.Stay overnight in Udaipur.

  • Day 6 Abu Mountain Hills And Sunset.

    Tourist destination to Mount Abu, the sole hill station in Rajasthan. It has a pleasant climate that is unlike the desert. Then, after taking rest, go to the Dilwara Temples, which can be characterised as marble carvings that are so delicate that they resemble lace.Continue to walk later around Nakki Lake which is a small lake with gardens and shops. You can go rowing in a boat or simply have fun on the serene trails. During the evening, visit Sunset point where the orange sun sets behind Aravalli hills. Overnight in Mount Abu.

  • Day 7 Ranakpur And Kumbhalgarh -temples And Forts.

    Quit Mount Abu and drive to Ranakpur, which has Jain Temples. Uniquely carved white marble pillars are gleaming in the sunlight. It is amongst the serene spiritual spots in Rajasthan. Next, visit Kumbhalgarh Fort where there are long walls that run along the hills. The fort is beautiful with breathtaking scenery and it is a wonderful place to have a walk. Spend the night at Kumbhalgarh or Udaipur.

  • Day 8 Jodhpur – Blue City

    Reach Jodhpur, the Blue City. Once you have checked into the hotel, you should visit Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the fortified forts in India. To the interior belong great palaces, armories and courts.Then visit Jaswant Thada, an artificial white marble edifice consisting of domes and gardens. During the evening, visit the old streets of the city, which are blue-painted. Have a view of the fort at night out of a rooftop cafe. Stay overnight in Jodhpur.

  • Day 9 Bishnoi Village -rural Peace.

    Day visit in Bishnoi Village, close to Jodhpur. Inhabitants of the village are in direct contact with nature. Go on a jeep ride around the village to view the blackbucks and chinkaras. You will encounter people in round mud huts whose walls are painted. See women make rotis out of bajra and men make pottery. It will be a slow silent day that demonstrates the quiet side of rural Rajasthan. You may remain in the village, or return to Jodhpur.

  • Day 10 Jaisalmer – Golden City

    Jaisalmer, the Golden City. Go to the Jaisalmer Fort where residents continue to dwell in the walls. Stroll along small streets, where there are embroidery, puppet-selling, and wooden box sales stores. Then visit Patwon Ki Haveli that has a cluster of large houses carved with stone. During the evening, sleep in your hotel or watch folk music in the country. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.

  • Day 11 Khuri And Barmer -desert And Crafts.

    Go to Khuri village known by the sand dunes. Ride a camel out into the desert, see the sunset and sit down on the soft sand as stars come forth. Next go to Barmer, famous in handicraft. The villagers are masters of mirror-work embroidery, pottery and carving of wood. Purchase minor trifles straight out of the craftsmen. Spend night in desert camp with music, food and camp fire. Spend the night in Khuri or Barmer.

  • Day 12 Bikaner And Departure

    On the final day, visit Bikaner, which is famous with forts and sweets. Visit Junagarh Fort, it is beautifully decorated with halls and courtyards. Make a walk on the local markets where you can taste popular Bikaneri bhujia and sweets. You can visit the Camel Breeding Farm and view how camels are treated, as soon as you have time. Take a break later in your next trip with the memories of the forts, lakes, villages and some peaceful moments of Rajasthan.
